About this villa rental
Rio Mantra is a secluded riverfront property on the Macal River, located in a quiet residential area just a 5-minute drive from downtown San Ignacio and the market square.
The location offers the best of both worlds: peaceful surroundings and easy access to town. Within just a few minutes’ drive, guests can reach restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets, and the lively center of San Ignacio. The property is also conveniently located on the way toward Mountain Pine Ridge, making it a great base for exploring waterfalls, caves, Maya sites, and many of the Cayo District’s most popular attractions.
The home is surrounded by trees and nature, with a private and peaceful pool area. There are a few lovely neighbors nearby, but they are not visible from the outdoor space, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the private infinity pool and riverfront atmosphere.
Wildlife is often seen around the property, including monkeys, toucans, gibnuts, tayras, hummingbirds, and many other unique visitors. Hummingbirds can often be seen feeding near the infinity pool, creating a beautiful setting to enjoy after a day of tours and adventures.
The house is modern, comfortable, and fully equipped for a relaxing stay. It is offered as either a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom home. The second bedroom is opened for reservations of more than two guests. For two guests who prefer separate bedrooms, the second bedroom can also be opened by adding the third-guest fee.
Guests also have access to our full concierge service. We are happy to assist with arranging tours, transportation, restaurant recommendations, private experiences, massages, and other activities to help make your stay in Belize as easy and memorable as possible.
We are kids friendly but we do have a pool so watching the kids is under your responsibility .
Please do not smoke inside the house.

Beautiful location. You really feel like you are in the rain forest. Lots of animals to see while hanging by the pool. Close enough to the city to be convenient, but far enough to let you feel like you are in nature.

This property is heaven on earth. It was super clean. Laying on a raft in the pool and watching the hummingbirds feed was so peaceful. The host recommended some wonderful activities and knowledgeable guides. The location is convenient to San Ignacio as well as loads of adventure options. We loved it here!

We loved the location and its proximity to town and places to visit. The home was modern, clean, spacious, and had so many hummingbirds to entertain us. Our host was helpful, super nice, and immediately responsive with any questions and needs. A few notes: the road down is a bit rough and should be initially down before dusk. We had no trouble after that. Connection to WiFi difficult.we will definitely stay there again! We stayed at a luxury resort after in San Pedro(unless you have smalwould recommend Rio Mantra (unless
