About this villa rental
Rio Mantra is a secluded riverfront vacation home on the Macal River, just a 5-minute drive from downtown San Ignacio. Surrounded by trees and nature, it is the perfect place to relax, enjoy privacy, and still be close to town, restaurants, tours, and the market.
The house is fully equipped for a comfortable stay and features a private infinity pool, beautiful natural surroundings, and a private path down to the river. After a day of exploring caves, Maya sites, waterfalls, or the town of San Ignacio, you can cool off in the pool, listen to the sounds of nature, and enjoy the peaceful riverfront setting.
Rio Mantra is located in a small residential area with a few lovely neighbors nearby, but they are not in view from the pool area, so guests can enjoy privacy while relaxing outdoors.
Wildlife is often seen around the property, including monkeys, toucans, gibnuts, kinkajous, and many other unique visitors. Hummingbirds are also often seen feeding near the infinity pool.
The home is offered as either a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom stay. The second bedroom is opened for reservations of more than two guests. For two guests who prefer separate bedrooms, the second bedroom can be opened by adding the third-guest fee.
The entire house is yours to enjoy during your stay.
We are kids friendly but we do have a pool so watching the kids is under your responsibility .

This property is heaven on earth. It was super clean. Laying on a raft in the pool and watching the hummingbirds feed was so peaceful. The host recommended some wonderful activities and knowledgeable guides. The location is convenient to San Ignacio as well as loads of adventure options. We loved it here!

We loved the location and its proximity to town and places to visit. The home was modern, clean, spacious, and had so many hummingbirds to entertain us. Our host was helpful, super nice, and immediately responsive with any questions and needs. A few notes: the road down is a bit rough and should be initially down before dusk. We had no trouble after that. Connection to WiFi difficult.we will definitely stay there again! We stayed at a luxury resort after in San Pedro(unless you have smalwould recommend Rio Mantra (unless

Rio Mantra was the perfect place for us stay. It offered quiet and seclusion, without being too far from town. The house, pool and hospitality were amazing. Hadas and Annabel made us feel welcome and the communication was perfect. We would definitely stay here again, if we come back to visit Belize.
