The salty rose main house is a beautiful. I was slightly nervous as there were no reviews, however it is just as beautiful as the photos. Very clean, gorgeous decor, equipped with all kitchen tools that we needed to cook in and grill, and plenty of serveware as well. It is very important to note that this rental has an attached carriage house that is a separate rental and the only way to get into the carriage house is through the courtyard where the “private” pool is located. So needless to say the note at the bottom of this listing saying there *may* be an attached carriage house felt misleading. If you look at the first photo on this listing the windows above the grill area looking down into the courtyard over the pool are to the carriage house. The entry door to the carriage house is glass and also looks directly into the primary bedroom of the main house, with only very sheer window treatments. The entrance door to the main house is glass and has no window treatments, so if you are sitting on the couch and the carriage house renters pop into the courtyard to go up to the carriage house, just wave. A lot of the properties in Rosemary have an attached carriage house. I just think it’s really important to note the lack of privacy this main house and attached carriage house have if being rented separately. There is really no way to avoid the renters of the carriage house and unfortunately the couple that rented the carriage house at the time we rented the main house were
