About this house rental
Welcome to High Cotton by Big Fish Real Estate Group at Lake Martin! High Cotton is a beautifully designed and decorated, two-story home in The Point subdivision.
Four bedrooms plus a loft with twin bunkbeds offer accommodations for 10 people.
Drop your cares at the door and enjoy the open floor plan with a large kitchen, dining, and living area! The primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom is located on the main level and has a private entrance to the porch. You’ll also find a powder room on the main level.
Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and a loft/second living area with a set of twin bunk beds with plenty of games to keep everyone entertained. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and there’s a full bathroom in the hallway.
Grab a cup of coffee from the Keurig and step outside where you will find a fabulous wrap-around porch with a gas grill and dining area. Lounge or nap on the couch while you take in the lake views! Need a spot to play outside, the almost flat yard offers a perfect spot to enjoy outdoor activities. Relax and enjoy S'mores by the fire pit after a day of playing on the lake!
There is a private dock that is big enough to lounge and soak up more beautiful views of Lake Martin.
Centrally located in many hot spots, High Cotton is just minutes away from Harbor Pointe Marina, Bluffs Daiquiri, Chuckwalla's Pizza and Marina, and the famous Chimney Rock! Approx. 30 miles from Jordan Hare Stadium, an hour's drive from Montgomery, and a 2-hour drive from Birmingham Airport.
PLEASE NOTE: Water levels can fluctuate (even at full pool) due to the lack of rain. Big Fish is not responsible for any inconvenience this may cause. You can download the Alabama Power Shoreline app and monitor the water level from there. If we meet the requirements for the fall extension, the winter pool draw down will begin on October 15th each year. Please be aware of this if you are booking in the fall.

No pets allowed
The total number of occupants will not exceed the quoted number unless agreed upon.
All trash and perishables must be disposed of properly and dishes washed.

We enjoyed another family reunion at Lake Martin. High Cotton has lots of room and furniture for us to eat and socialize. The kitchen is large and always has something I forgot! Thank you to our hosts for sharing and to Big Fish for handling any issue that arises.

Incredible Stay – Clean, Convenient, and Fully Stocked!We had a fantastic stay at this Lake Martin property! The house was extremely clean and so well taken care of. You can really tell the owners put thought into making it feel like a home away from home.The location was perfect — right on the lake and just minutes from a grocery store and other essentials. Super convenient for families or anyone who wants to relax without being too far from anything.The home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need — from kitchen tools to extra blankets, and more. It made our stay so easy and comfortable.I also noticed a few past reviews mentioned issues with neighbors, but we didn’t experience anything like that at all. It was quiet, peaceful, and everyone around us was friendly.Highly recommend this place — we’ll absolutely be back!

The most beautiful home with great views of the lake. Heather, with Big fFsh, is amazing. It was wedding weekend for my daughter and the original place we rented had a little hiccup. She quickly took care of us and placed us in an even better rental than originally planned. Her communication was great, no matter what time day or night. I cannot recommend this home or Big Fish Rentals enough.

We enjoyed the house itself, but there was a neighbor next door to this rental that was extremely rude. He was not only rude to us but also the renters on the other side of us. Until this situation is handled I would not rent this house again. You could tell that this guy clearly did not renters despite majority of the houses in this neighborhood were being rented.
