Location was perfect to experience the winding streets and unique shops and hidden courtyards of old Ortigia. Property was fine, no elevator and lots of steps which can be challenging. Room was clean and modern, bed very comfortable, shower was amazing! Rooftop terrace was under renovation. No other place to gather indoors with friends who were in another room. Also website indicated complimentary breakfast however we learned that our booking did not include that because we had made the reservation prior to April 15. Disappointing.

Wish we had known that there were many steps to climb to get to the room. It was hard dragging the bags up two massive flights. Also know the desk is not manned very much. You are pretty much on your own and they don't speak english. We managed with using google translate. Everyone was nice and the room was very clean. They also provided quite a few little touches such as slippers and shampoo and lots of bathroom amenities. Overall I liked the place. Be sure to arrange your car in advance...they only provide the phone number and you must do the rest. Very grateful we arranged for the valet. She was a godsend and even drove us out to the bridge.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and pleasant to work with from booking to check-in. The location is right in the heart of Ortigia and within a short walk of major attractions including Syracuse Cathedral, Fountain of Diana, and Castello Maniace. Driving and parking our car in Ortigia was difficult but it was expected for any historic old towns in Italy. Fortunately the receptionist at check-in was very patient and really helpful in providing us detailed driving and parking instructions.

Our stay was excellent from start to finish. Federico was an outstanding host—knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. He provided great advice on local amenities, restaurants, and attractions, making it easy for us to get the most out of our time in the area. Whenever we had a question or needed assistance, he responded quickly and went above and beyond to help. The location is ideal, centrally situated and within easy walking distance of the historic centre and many of the area’s main attractions. We especially appreciated the breakfast vouchers, which allowed us to enjoy fantastic breakfasts at a lovely restaurant in Piazza Archimede each morning. Thank you for everything, Federico. Your hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.
