MaMmaRosa Ortigia, historic city of Syracuse

MamMaRossa in Ortigia is a fantastic place to stay—I spent three nights there in June and couldn’t have been happier. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Ortigia, with everything from restaurants to swimming spots just a short walk away, yet it still feels শান্ত and relaxing. The apartment itself is sleek, modern, and immaculately clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s thoughtfully set up and feels fresh, stylish, and easy to unwind in—especially after a day exploring. Everything about the experience was smooth and welcoming, and it’s clear the hosts really care about their guests. I’d highly recommend MamMaRossa to anyone visiting Syracuse—it’s a brilliant base for enjoying Ortigia at its best.

No complaints whatsoever.

Location

The location is superb, in the very centre of Ortigia. Extremely clean, and well taken care of. And the roof terrace is a great bonus. Also the local WiFi worked very well. Had to do some physical unit research in order to dig out the password, but once that was found, everything worked well.

A bit smallish, the double bed takes up most of the available space. And a proper working desk would have been appreciated. And shelf space in the bathroom is very limited. But you get what you pay for, I guess.
