Fujisan Onsen Bessho SASA

We enjoyed every minute of our relaxing stay! Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The food was great! Can’t say enough about the private bath, it was so refreshing after 8 days of nonstop sight seeing.

Everything is excellent, top notch. The staff English is not good but they try everything to help. They were nice and very helpful. We left an expensive Jewelry in our room and we realized that when we came back home at USA, we contacted the Hotel, they immediately replied and tried every effort to send it to us. Now we have it. Thanks. We will come back the area and will stay here again next time.

10/10 views of Mt. Fuji and incredible hospitality. While it’s not located near much, there’s plenty to do on the property with multiple onsens and private baths, a beautiful garden, a nightly drum show, and several restaurants. They also offer a private shuttle from nearby train stations like Mishima. It’s a paid service, but highly recommended for a smooth and easy arrival. At times, it felt like an all inclusive resort thanks to the way the stay is set up, with in room dining, unlimited drinks, snack rooms, and a full lineup of amenities.

Stay more than one night! This hotel is exceptional, and with almost no Foreign tourists it is a true gem. We booked one of the bessho sasa rooms, since we wanted to have a private onsen. Room was clean, spaceous, and (if it wasn't for the clouds) a amazing view of fuji. In room private dinning with the best service we have ever experienced in any hotel. Also, Kaneyamaen has its own private garden, with tea houses, and other smaller activities. If you feel more adventurous, then then Kaneyamaen also offers other guided activities. (Do this on your second day). Lastly there is free shuttlebus to and from train/bus stations. ..... ..... ..... We hope to come back one day and see this amazing place again.
