    The complex caters mainly for Japanese tourists, we had villa 14R, a 3 storey villa with a roof top terrace. The villas are spacious, but have lots of quirks, which as foreign tourists we found a little odd. There are 2 TVs, both only show Japanese channels, CNN would be a nice addition. The bathrooms were a bit odd, the shower was a wet room, the shower was at ground level, so you could only sit on a stool and use it, very similar to the wash stations at an onsen, there was no option to use the shower head over the bath. The kitchen was poorly designed with no where to put supplies or prepare ingredients, there is no manual for the induction stove top, we ended up having to use google translate to work out how to use it. There is a good view of Mt Fuji from the roof terrace, however our villa was right at the back of the complex and slightly lower than many villas, so our view was soured, as our main view was other villas and heaps of power lines, ask for a villa close to the reception end of the complex. There is a large supermarket about 5 minutes by car, but you have to navigate some very narrow laneways to get there. A car is a necessity for enjoying the area. We enjoyed our stay, but would probably stay in a hotel next time.

    This place is directly facing Mt Fuji and the view is spectacular at noon. The villa is huge and lovely. Free shuttle in the morning to the nearest station. Staff at reception are lovely. The villas are on mini hills, the further you are from reception, the further you’ve gotta lug your bags. If it’s raining, this experience can get sticky. Breakfast is served in a basket - cold and not appetizing. The whole stay is only worth, if the weather is permitting. Best to check-in in the noon to view Fuji-San. We couldn’t view anything during sunrise at 4:10am and instead went to Oishi Park and waited till about 12pm for the clouds to clear.

    I chose this hotel because of the Mount Fuji view in our rooms and balcony. It’s unbelievable that you are staying so close to Mount Fuji. Recommended for families of 4 as they are 2 bedrooms. There is also a kitchen and stove for you to cook. But you need a car as it is quite far from the station and at night it is quite dark to walk. Overall it’s a pleasant stay and recommended.
