We stayed in a traditional Japanese room with private onsen. The room was lovely. The private onsen was a treat. Meals were traditional Japanese and beautifully prepared and presented. My partner’s gluten allergy was accommodated well.

A bit of a culture change for the uninitiated, but this hotel is incredible. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are just lovely and served in a traditional environment that sets you up for the day. Wish we could have stayed for longer.
