My best friend and I had a great 3 night stay at the Del Marcos Hotel. It has a wonderful location, the hotel is clean and quiet, and the decor is awesome mid-century modern. Each room is unique and is named after a famous artist, architect, etc from that era. A simple but delicious breakfast (Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, pastries, coffee) is included at their sister property next door. You can also order ala carte items for an extra charge. The sister hotel also provides room and pool service for food and drinks to the Del Marcos. Bikes are also available to borrow free of charge.

Rooms were in poor condition- chipped paint, stains on the floor. Uncomfortable bed. Closed front desk- have to work through their neighboring sister hotel. Kitchenettes were barely stocked with what appeared to be a few second-hand items. Not many towels. Staff were extremely kind and accommodating of our concerns.

We just had to toggle abit as we were unaware there was no staff working at this location. We walked next door to the sister hotel, which wasn’t far and checked in there. We wish the room smelled better- it was musty. The hotel itself is really cute- med century revival and would definitely like to stay again, once new management takes over officially.

The staff was great! The pool area and room was cute, but when we walked into the bathroom we noticed these things: - No room or shelf space to put toiletries. - Toilet paper was on this rusty and unsturdy holder that kept fall over! - Toilet was old and stained. - Between the sink and shower, there was a black/dirty hole near the floor which was about five inches big (looks like something from a horror movie). I'm sure critters can enter as they please. Why can't they just fix it? It makes the place look rundown and unappealing even though certain parts of the room/property looks cute. - Also, there was a water cooler with lemon slices, which we thought was great, but when we put the water in our water bottle, it was HOT!!! It was gross so we tossed it out. They could put a little money into the property and fix certain things so it doesn't look so rundown and outdated.

Property was clean and quiet was charged full price when I had paid most of balance before. Going to be reimbursed but inconvenience. Parked in front of hotel and had a dent on my hood like someone jumped on it and had a scratch on it. Probably will not going to stay in that area again.

The ambiance was perfect. The pool was perfect. Azúcar, a restaurant nearby, brought us food and drinks poolside. They were a little bit put off by our request for late check-out and all the guests seemed to be getting a bottle and glasses at check-in and we didn’t. I’m not sure why. We got great recommendations for food nearby. There is Village Fest every Thursday which is in walking distance. We were able to catch that and bought some cute things there. Overall, a perfect spot. Friendly staff, great food and atmosphere. Will be back for sure.

Just not the same as it used to be. Each time we go back it just seems more and more run down which is such a bummer because it’s in such a great location. Pool was very murky. Mentioned it to someone and then they said it should start clearing up because he just cleaned the filter. We have a pool and it doesn’t quite work that way. That pool needed to be shocked big time. Woke up and the pool was still disgusting but we were leaving so we stopped caring. One of our tv’s was stuck on a channel (I think we were missing a remote). I had to go over to the sister hotel because nobody ever answers the phone and tell them about the tv. The gentleman at the front desk said that maintenance was gone for the day and I should have said something sooner. Ok. So I said no biggie, and he said I’ll have someone come by first thing in the morning. Nobody ever came. Not that big of a deal but kind of annoying. There were two roaches when we woke up in the morning the first night so that was a treat. So yeah, we’ve been coming here for years. We’ve stayed at both the sister hotels and it’s safe to say that the Del Marcos and the three50 hotel are the forgotten children. They definitely care more about La Serena. No more loyalty discount, no more happy hour. Each time we go back thee is less and less presence of any staff which isn’t the worst but not always ideal.

Del Marcos Hotel definitely needs some TLC. The rooms are quite dated, and the furniture is extremely worn out. The bathroom was tiny and not very clean, which was a big letdown. We specifically booked a room with a patio because we enjoy sitting outside, but the patio was so dirty and uninviting that we didn’t use it at all. It’s a shame because the property has great potential, but unfortunately, it’s not being maintained to the standard it deserves.

Air conditioning wasn’t very good. Even after turning down the thermostat stayed warm. TV got no signal….. bed was not comfortable and felt like it was about to fall Apart. We did like the pool, quiet and adults, overall it was fine, just didn’t sleep well because it was too warm and wished the TV worked in the morning

This was my fourth time staying at the Del Marcos Hotel. I love this place. The rooms are clean, bright, and nicely decorated. The hotel is well situated downtown just one block west of Palm Springs' main street. On this visit, my boyfriend and I took advantage of the hotel's free bicycles and went for a ride around town. My only minor complaint is that sometime between now and my last stay (in fall 2021) the hotel stopped using Lather bath products. The Lather soaps and shampoos were a real treat. The new stuff is pretty generic.

It is a sister property. So you had to go there to check it and get any ice, etc. They charged a resort fee every though they had a pool only, their sister property had a restaurant, bar and pool that was not offered. They suggested that we check out on line, so the extra fee added at check out surprised me and was automatically added on my card.
