One of, if not the newest hotel in Palm Springs, I’ve stayed here several times and always think it’s best compared to the rest!

The Drift Hotel looks amazing in pictures, and since it’s still relatively new, the rooms and facilities are clean and in good condition. However, that’s where the positives end. There is no check-in desk, so upon arrival, you find yourself standing in the restaurant, trying to figure out who to ask for assistance as everyone is busy serving restaurant guests. Everything is managed via their iPad and automated text messages. If you want to change your room or have any requests, they direct you to their virtual assistant, offering no personal service. I would not call this a hotel; it feels more like an upgraded Airbnb. I even contacted them beforehand to inform them it was a special occasion (my mum's birthday), but they completely ignored this and made no effort to provide a special experience. Save your money and stay somewhere else in Palm Springs! There are many great options available!
