Very lovely romantic room with a slipper tub which we were not expecting! The staff are so helpful, my husband bumped his head and cut it and they gave us sticking plasters and antiseptic wipes! Husband said breakfast was wonderful. The best bit was the bed though - literally the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the pillows were like clouds - so good I even asked the hotel to let me know where they buy them and they made the effort to do that and emailed me all the details. Great customer service! Only downside is parking is not on site and the closest car park was 100 quid for 2 nights - but, that is Brighton, unfortunately. Would recommend if you don't mind spending a bit extra on a hotel. All the Hotel Du Vins are reliably luxurious.

This hotel is in a fantastic location in Brighton.
Excellent customer service as soon as you arrive, staff always helpful and polite.
We upgraded to the deluxe room which was very spacious and clean.
The bistro was delicious and Mohammed was attentive throughout the service. The bar staff were always polite.
There are no lifts in the hotel.

Very nice old property very well maintained the staff is very helpful and friendly
The only problem was they have no elevators and I have a bad back and had to walk up 3 flights of stairs
They do have a nice restaurant and right in the middle of the lanes witch is a large area if shops and restaurants
