    I was assigned a basement room, which means there is a staircase from the outside of the building leading to the area right outside my window. Initially felt weird, but later realised the window is quite hard to open (and other townhouses in the neighbourhood all have people living in the basements so it should be fine). Beware of getting the top floor unit if you have heavy luggage though, a friend had to lug their suitcase up and down the narrow staircase as the lift only goes till the second-from-the-top floor. Was also a little scary to open my room door into the corridor in the early morning as it is pitch black till u step out and trigger the motion lights, and there is no security for the lift (anyone can choose to go to any floor). The above caused me to feel uncertain about my room initially, tho a gutsier person probably wouldn't have minded. After 2 nights stay, I realise the neighbourhood is safe, the room is pretty clean, and the breakfast is not bad. So overall am still happy with my stay, and take it as a novel experience of a London townhouse. (Prices at Paddington were similarly high but with much tinier rooms when I searched for places to stay, so overall this place was real good). Transport is convenient with the earl's court station just 2-3minutes away. If the weather is good, the natural history museum is a 20min leisurely walk thru the nice neighbourhood, and Holland Park is a pretty park about 20-30minutes walk away (public transport options are available too, but I enjoyed the walks in the cool morning weather).

    Location is very convenient because it was a few steps away from the Earl's Court train station where the Picaddily line to Heathrow Airport stops. Its just off the main street so not as busy or noisy. The front office was not very friendly nor accommodating though but the breakfast staff Roger and Shanel made up for it. They're very friendly and always smiling. The Premium room is big enough for our luggages so that was a plus. A bit pricey though (maybe during weekends) stayed for 5days total. The housekeeping could do better, though. But overall it was a good stay

    It is very convenient since it is just a few steps away from Earl's Court Underground station but because it is not facing the main street, it is still not busy nor noisy oftentimes. We booked the Premium Room and got a big sized bedroom (big enough for our luggages and to move around).

    There was an unauthorised charge of £935 to my debit card after we had checked out from the hotel. I was informed by the bank of the charge. There was no notification nor apology email from the hotel. I had to go back to the hotel to sort it out, and received the refund 2 days later (on Jun 28). It is not a pleasant customer experience, which stops me from staying at that hotel chain again.
