    The location in relation to the train station and the cathedral is fantastic. The room is small but comfortable. The bathroom was tiny - I was thankful that neither my husband nor I are large people. The breakfast was spectacular - everything you could possibly want to try (assuming you don't have food restrictions -- I cannot comment for allergies). Overall, we would stay there again if ever in Cologne.

    The staff was very nice. It felt like a homely place. Very connected, great location and a wonderful breakfast with so much quality. Walking distances to almost every place you'd like to see.

    I could not enter the hotel, so I was left stranded outside late at night with no place to go. While the booking was paid and confirmed through Agoda. What this hotel got wrong: - 24/7 front desk at their Agoda listing while it is not true. False advertising. - no information received after my confirmation email, about their check in process which involves self checkin by entering a code. They should have send instructions, what to do at late check in, etc. So something went wrong there. - all their contact info is wrong. Numbers not in use or going straight to voicemail. This includes their 'emergency number' that they put on the card at their reception. Clearly something to improve, having an emergency number that is unavailable is unacceptable. Positives: it is not far from the trainstation.
