Location is superb - literally cross the road and you are at Kings Cross - St Pancras. That's where the good bit ends. If you have big bags beware. Checkin process was average but the first room on the lower floor was flooded - so we got a room on the 2nd floor. That's where problems started. 1: Lifts did not work - so they sent someone to help with bags - great job. 2: but it wasn't working when we check-in but we had to lug it down stairs ourselves. They helped because of the mess up with the room. 3: lifts stop only between floors so no escape lugging back up or down 2 floors minimum. E.g. from 2nd floor, drag bags down one flight of stairs, take lift to 1, then lug bags down another flight to get to Ground level. Repeat to go up. 4: no hot water in room consistently - water alternates between arctic cold and luke to warm. Complained twice and told it was resolved - it was not. 5: no phone in room - although listed as present on Agoda as having telephone in room, there is none, and so you have to make the trip down every time to complain. While I want to be objective about this, I will be clear that this may work for some and not everyone. I will give it a miss.

Stayed for 1 night before an early Eurostar train. Great location as directly opposite the Eurostar station! Booked a single room with a single bed and on suite. Arrived to a massive room with a tv, fridge, double and single bed, and on-suite. Only quibble would be the shower is overhead only (no adjustable height) so not possible to shower without getting hair wet (other ladies will understand)

Good location . Just opposite train station which made it convenient . The room was in the basement , it was for four people . The AC worked but the entire room had a musty smell . I would limit to short stay or you may choose a room above ground . I guess if you are going out all day and just coming back to crash and then head out from st pancras it’s not too bad . The convenience may be worth it . Wifi signal seems fine when we were there . We didn’t head out till late but do be aware the area can be dodgy at night .
