The stay at the B&B was very pleasant. Our host was super nice and even picked me up at the airport and answered all of our questions regarding Bologna. Beware that the breakfast is packaged bread and yam/hazelnut spread that is prepared beforehand. There was also two shared bathrooms but they were clean and close to the rooms. Overall a very pleasant stay!

# Pros: - Given the price and distance from the city, it's rather well-positioned on bus routes. A direct bus to/from airport and another direct bus to the city center. Works rather well for foreigners as well. The grocery store right at the end of the small avenue where the B&B is located sells bus tickets. - Sheets/beds are nice and clean. - Staff are really friendly, even though they hardly speak english (we half-communicated via google translate). - The hosts are really caring if you want advice regarding restaurants, buses and very accommodating if you have late/early flights and need to check out early. # Things you gotta expect at a B&B at this price in such a city in Europe: - Amenities are almost none. Bring your own shampoo, etc. - It's far from the city center, but as said above, nicely on bus routes. - AC/Heating seems not to be ideal, but we were there during rather moderate temperatures, so didn't really bothered us. - Their breakfast is barebones. Some cheap generic brand croissant and some ok tea/coffee. Tastes alright, but don't expect a fancy breakfast. # Cons: - It was advertised as having private bathrooms, but it doesn't. You share two bathrooms with three other bedrooms and it can get dirty quickly. - While the beds are nice and clean, the rest of the place is not clean. - The sweet old lady that is around can't speak a single english word. So, it's hard to communicate needs/requests. - What they provide as "towels" are just some cloths.

The owner is two old to be efficient. The very small bathroom and toilet where never cleaned in 4 days. It was boring to hear the landlady repeating all ten minutes "sono ubriaca".

NOT as advertised and run by a disabled 84 year lady who spoke only Italian. Pubic hair found in the bathrooms, caught the lady wiping the plates clean with her sleeve, the floor was filthy so did not remove our shoes. Breakfast was not as described, a prepacked croissant with no cheese or meats so not a continental breakfast. 5/6 keys given to get in and out of the building, supposedly colour coded but that system did not work.

Very obliging and friendly, we asked for a late check in and the owner welcomed us from the taxi, took our bags in and showed us to the nearest bar/restaurant. Nice area, convenient to bus service, quiet and comfortable. No English spoken but we managed!

The old lady who runs the place doesnt speak any english but this doesnt stop her from talking to you which is quite lovely. The room was comfy, however it is a long walk from town. The number 3 bus is regular though so that helps to get you in and out.

Signora Accorsi is a real Mamma - will look after you well :) shame I could not speak much Italian...The room is basic indeed but you dont come to Bologna just to sit in.Easily accessible from the airport on BLQ bus line and town is served by numerous other bus lines (10 min ride, get yourself a giornaliero ticket). Last service back from the town for No 13 is around 1.00am so no need to take a taxi after the evening out.Good budget choice, will consider in the future

Extremely clean and quiet. Neighborhood feels like you are in a village , not a city. bus service into historical center. Mrs. Accorsi very kind and helpful . Great service! Hotel is difficult to find. When you find the address, you must buzz the top button at the door. Wait for a nice lady to arrive, and she will show you to your room. You will need to know Italian to communicate with her. She will prepare breakfast in the morning. She is lovely.

It's good that I speak some Italian because Signora Accorsi who runs this B&B, doesn't speak English at all. She was very nice, welcoming and helpful. She did her best to make our stay nice and comfortable. The room was OK, the furniture was a bit old and there was no air-conditioning (we knew about it though!), but other that this, it was comfortable. There are two bathrooms at the each end of the corridor, and it can be quite loud whenever somebody goes to the bathroom, especially at night. It's just the house acoustics, because the location itself is very quiet. The breakfast was tasty and served at whichever hour we asked for. This place was much more expensive that similar places in Genoa or Florence and had less facilities, but maybe it's just different prices in Bologna, because it was the cheapest of other Bologna options.

It was a very nice stay, arriving after 21hrs, great zero service at all times, speaking almost Zero Italian but leaving with some Italian words! Location close, by cab seeing some sights and sounds before getting to my tranquil room in minutes. Next morning keeping left after the hotel and left exposed me to some landmarks of Bologna...

Very affordable bed and breakfast, just 10 minutes from the center of Bologna by car. Breakfast is very simple, just a few toasts and an espresso from the machine. Please note, that the B&B has no sign that is a hotel, it seems to be a normal living house. The owner does not speak a word English, German or French. Purely Italian. It's OK to converse with hand gestures. Rooms are comfortable.

Nice little B&B for budget concious. Sig Accorsi is very nice. TV, and fan in the room. Clean bathroom. Situated 5 mins from bus stop (lines 71,81, 13 and the aeroport bus). Bus #13 runs very late (about 1 am) so you can stay in centro the whole evening. I transferred to line 54 (one stop after the "Pontelungo" but only runs once an hour) instead of taking the expensive aerobus to aiport. Bologna is great with all kinds of centro activity. The Ducati Museum (need reservation) was fantastic! Buy the "gionaliero" bus pass for 4 euro that is good 24 hours. I climbed the "Asselino" tower and got a fantastic view of city.
