The room was very mediocre. Looks like the pictures but worn. Coach had paint all over it and cushions looked worn. Tub on balcony (one of the main selling features) didn’t work. Called for repair, they came but were unable to fix the issue so there was no tub, just the bathroom shower. Turnover service was so difficult to get. We left the room at appx 8:00am and returned at appx 4’ish and the room hadn’t been touched. I called to get someone to come clean the room and it took almost 2 hours. We left and returned and had to call them back for towels. The staff…racist. I felt it during most of my stay. There were 6 people out of at least 50 that were actually pleasant. To the point I had to tip them tremendously to show my appreciation. I asked someone at the front counter to translate something and she told me, “you’re in a Spanish speaking country, you can’t read that?” So instead of snatching her from behind the counter, I asked google and walked away. The resort was a 7/10 with the staff and the amenities being the biggest issue. Pretty beach and pretty resort. I would go again but would def match energy next time.
