The only draw back is absence of the elevator. I have to walk up about 38 steps each time to my 2nd floor room. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The place is wonderful and cozy. I love it :)

Hotel nice and clean. Room is in the attic so half of the room you cant stand up. Also nowhere it was nentioned that there is no elecator and the stairs are curling and very hard to carry the laggage.. totally not worth the orice paid for 1 night.

We had a lovely room under the eves. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is easy access to public toilets and we were able to walk to the port in about 20 minutes. The only issue was hauling our heavy suitcases up two steep flights of stairs. So thankful for the staff who helped us.

It was a good enough room for 1 night just to sleep because it was clean and tidy, but the matras was very thin and hard. Also, there was almost no water pressure at the sink and in the shower so it took a long time to shower or wash your hands because of how little water there was coming out. The toilet seat was broken as well and was falling off all the time. We told the front desk but unfortunately they didn’t offer us anything. We think a €100 for one night was too much for all of the above.

Nice hotel which is clean but a little dated. We had one with a tight window and the window is not able to be opened (air con in room tho!). Quite close to everything, so we didn’t really need public transport. 15-20 min walk to most parts that guides reccomend.

Clean, comfortable and well located hotel. The staff (I think I met the owners) were very helpful and welcoming, for e.g. it was raining heavily and they let me borrow a personal umbrella and suggested restaurants for dinner. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern. It was very clean throughout. This hotel is excellent value for money considering its cleanliness and location. My only criticism is not the fault of the hotel but other guests, who were noisy in the corridors late at night. Some form of noise insulator/soundproofing under the gap under my bedroom door might have helped quieten noise from the corridor. But overall this a minor quibble from an excellent stay. I would definitely stay here again.

There were bedbugs in our room and took ages until we got another room and the receptionist even said that they will not charge us more because this new room had a view. A view to nothing actually. It look they were doing us a favour

Overall our stay was fine. The staff were all lovely and welcoming and we were able to store our bags in the hotel after check out which was a plus. One of the rooms smelt of cigarettes and as the room was facing a road it wasn’t an option to open the window at night due to noise. The showers in both rooms lacked any water pressure.

I was not very satisfied with the condition of the accommodation in this hotel. My room was extremely noisy as the main window was broken and not closing properly and I could hear all of the traffic from the street. When I told the Receptionist on check out she really didn't seem bothered about it. The shower also didn't work properly and there was no hot water. I would not recommend this and it is very overpriced for the standard of room you get.

The room did not at all look like the pictures. Old, small and dirty. The common room looked okay, but wasn't accessible because of covid. Very loud traffic noise that was not blocked by the windows, since the windows could not close properly. It was very expensive for what you get.

Terrible people and property. Traveled from California to Netherlands about 15 plus hrs of travel. They sold my room, lied to me and said it had been canceled request. But then told me they have one room left for more than double the original price! Additional disrespectful experience.. Don’t book here!!!!!!!!!

We arrived due to cancellation of our train after 10 p.m. and informed the hotel accordingly - it was no problem to deposit the keys in their safes. As the information via Expedia didn't come through the hotel doublechecked with us per phone and sent us directly the instruction how we get in the hotel and open the safes. Rooms in the 2nd floor were very small and low. There was mold in the shower and the bathroom furniture es damaged. Luckily the receptionist was able to change us for the second night to the first floor - even it was directly on the main street it was much better than before. The receptionist who was taking care about everything was exceptional - very helpful, friendly - we really appreciated her. The breakfast - especially the croissants - was very good and fresh.
