Loved Gaige House! The staff were very welcoming, great service at all times. The suite we upgraded to was well worth it. Great pool area. We’ll be back :)

The property has been updated since the last time I stayed there. All the updates have been nicely done and represent a solid improvement. The breakfast is one of the highlights of the stay, and the local wineries that pour at happy hour are well worth the visit. HWY12 had some good pinots and very nice reserve cabs. All said it was a good visit to Glen Ellen and Sonoma.

Had an amazing time with my best friend. Clean and amazing pool, very relaxing. Great time during the social hour. Quiet and calming. We will be making this an annual trip!

We loved everything; the layout, spaciousness, quality, cleanliness, beautiful grounds and extraordinarily kind staff. The accommodations were high quality and we appreciated the details. The parking was ample with easy access. The pool and grounds are so inviting. The whole place is high vibe. Their generosity with wine and cheese is beyond amazing. They even have Sake to share. The cookies and teas are kept out fresh and encourage guests to feel at home. We would stay again and again. They have the kindest staff we have ever encountered. The Gaige House is truly a treasure. The hotel is beautifully situated near a creek and among trees and attractive landscaping with outdoor seating areas around the pool and on porches. The amenities were good - from a guest wine tasting in the afternoon to breakfast in the morning. Our room - a Deluxe King, however, was lacking. It was much smaller than shown on the website and did not have the Asian design aesthetic and comfortable/luxury feel reflected in the online photos. For example, the bed frame was made from metal and you had to be careful not to hurt your legs on the sharp edges when walking around it. The mattress was very flat and hard. The room only had one window and was dark during the day. In Sonoma, travelers do spend most of their time exploring the vineyards, towns, and natural beauty of the area, however, staying in a warm and welcoming hotel room is also part of the overall experience.

Beautiful property. Only 25 or 30 minutes from Napa. Breakfast was great.

Love this place

Wonderful relaxing and romantic get-away. We had a wonderful room. Enjoyed a late afternoon swim and a quiet night in our room. Staff was attentive throughout our stay and very friendly and accommodating. Will return soon.

The staff and the property were both delights, especially the front desk staff. The amenities went above and beyond. Wine hour and breakfast are just the beginning. There’s also a sake bar, Madeira bar, and plenty of ways to relax.

Very nice property for calm, peace, relaxation. Exactly what we were looking for. Limited number of guests. Everyone seemed to be looking for quiet and comfort and this fit the bill. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and mimosas in the am. Took advantage of a quiet hot tub in the evening. My only negative was the location didn’t allow for an easy walk around anywhere off of the property. No fault of the property, it’s just where the hotel is.

Where can I start? This place is nestled in quaint Glen Ellen, with a spacious property and plenty of privacy. So many high- touch amenities- a glass of campaign when you check in, afternoon wine and cheese hosted by local wineries, a nightcap sake bar, and complementary breakfast. We used the pool, hot tub, the meditation room, and we had a fire pit all to ourselves ( there are two fire pits). We stayed in the main house, and had our own external entrance and private patio. We would definitely stay here again. Close to so many wineries

What an absolutely amazing hidden oasis. From the first moment you step into their guest house, you feel like a you have entered a little hidden gem. Quiet, quaint, with delicious wine hour, great breakfast and extremely kind personnel. I will definitely be coming back!! Also, couldn’t have asked for a better location.

The hotel rooms are very dated; bed was old AC too loud...I DON NOT RECOMMEND IT!

Quiet, peaceful and very comfortable. The wine tasting in the afternoon and breakfast were both excellent. Great location for exploring the Sonoma area.

The place is pretty nice. It just felt that its managed by non professionals. We had to climb stairs to get to our room - it wasn't terrible but I wish we were told about this beforehand. The property is pretty nice, secluded, loved the firepit and the creek. I wish they lowered the meditation music a little bit so that we could enjoy the nature. What seemed a bit unprofessional is that at checkout we got a call right at 11 am (checkout time) claiming that they wana see if we already checked out, but sounded more like rushing us to checkout maybe ? I just wish they waited just a few more minutes lol. They still were nice. I would go back again regardless!

A nice and peaceful retreat in beautiful surroundings. Overall, we had a good time. Mixed impressions of service. Pamela at the front desk was wonderful, warm, friendly and accommodating. Her colleague Crystal, on the other hand, was brusque and unwilling to accommodate any wishes. (Example: during the « wine hour » on the first night Crystal offered rosé, which I don’t like. When I asked if it would be possible to have a white wine on the following night she answered: no.) In fact it was possible and in the end it was offered, but her immediate « no » had left a bad taste. ) There were other examples as well. I think Crystal needs to keep working on her guest service skills.

It was the ideal way to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. Mornings at the Gaige House were equally enchanting, thanks to the delicious breakfast spread and the refreshing mimosa bar. Each bite was a delight, and the mimosas added a festive touch to our mornings. As if that wasn’t enough, we were treated to fresh-baked cookies that were simply irresistible, alongside a complimentary sake and Port wine bar for a cozy nightcap. It was the perfect way to end our evenings, savoring these thoughtful touches that exemplified the Gaige House's commitment to excellence. In short, the Gaige House exceeded all our expectations with its outstanding service, generous hospitality, and delightful amenities. We left feeling rejuvenated and eager to return. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a luxurious yet welcoming getaway!

The staff were nice. She even brought my room keys to me while I was at the pool waiting for my room. Happy hours and breakfast were excellent.
