A very comfortable quiet and relaxed hotel ( originally an old convent) overlooking Salo and Lake Garda. The staff at the hotel are superb - the reception staff in particular are some of the best anywhere. The views from the garden and terrace across the lake to the mountains are beautiful. A good pool with lots of loungers and outside seating make this a great place to relax away from the crowds around the lake ,but only a 10 min drive away. A word of warning if you are relying on Sat Nave to find the hotel DO NOT take the small track up past the Hotel Panoramic, continue on the main road unless you are in an original Fiat 500 or smaller!!

Our stay was below average unfortunately- entirely driven by customer service... the hotel's location is reasonably convenient and the rooms were nice. But the check-in lacked any information about the facilities/breakfast times/surrounding area or even just general details of the hotel. We were told we would receive a welcome drink in the bar, but after sitting in the bar with 3 members of staff just talking to each other and ignoring us, we had to go and ask if we could be served. We had the same experience at breakfast on the first morning, a waiter who was serving walked straight past me in the breakfast room and not only ignored me, but could see I was looking around and didn't help in any way to say whether we seat ourselves or wait, or whether it was buffet or an ordered breakfast. Overall we found the staff unhelpful and generally quite rude. The hotel definitely doesn't justify it's price tag sadly.

I cannot recommend Villa Arcadio enough. Beautiful property, superb pool, great restaurant and staff who go out of their way to assist. Our room was beautifully appointed and I wouldn't hesitate to go back

This hotel is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and Lake Garda. The rooms are good size with lovely large bed and luxurious bathroom. The restaurant in the hotel served the best meals we ate during our stay with superb service. Even though we were there out of season everything was still top class.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, staff, setting. Booked this hotel for myself and my bestman the evening before my wedding and returned again on my wedding evening with my new wife. We all absolutely loved it. We were immediately greeted with flowers, prosecco and Grappa and with the not so bad news that because it was our wedding Hotel we had been upgraded into the Suite. Amazing!!!!!! Highly recommend and i will be returning next year.

This is a lovely hotel which is beautifully appointed. A car is a must as it is quite far from town. If using sat nav enter Via Europa, as Via Palazzina is not registered on it. The best thing about this hotel is the food, it's of a really high standard. I would definitely recommend going half board. The waiter Luca was very helpful and made our stay very pleasant.

The hotel is situated up the hill overlooking Lake Garda and the views from the dining patio are absolutely stunning. The photographs on this website just don't do it justice. The food is fantastic and the staff are lovely. It has a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Perfect to get away from it all!

superb hotel - everything is just right: setting, location, views, service, food, facilities, etc. having breakfast looking down onto the lake at dawn was amazing. infinity pool which did not smell or taste of chlorine, the comfortable loungers, etc. staff are attentive but not intrusive. everything was simply impeccable.

Having only been open for a year, the hotel staff are very eager to please and everything is still new and in excellent condition. The grounds are very attractive and peaceful and the view is lovely. Unless you really want to do nothing other than stroll down to Salo (about 35 mins downhill, 45 uphill!), you're advised to rent a car as there's not much in the immediate vicinity.

A beautiful 19th century monastery redone in a modern design. A little out of town up on a hill brings beautiful views and peace. The staff was extrememly friendly and the dining supurb. Lake Garda is a beautiful lake to explore in a temporate climate. They even have palm trees! This should be rated 4 or 5 stars.

This hotel is fantastic. The service is first class and the staff have the reassuring air of a premier establishment. The infinity edge pool and the views are breathtaking, the rooms are a cool minimalist mix of classic design with a contemporary twist, the towels are from Frette, the toiletries are imported Crabtree and Evelyn, need I go on..... All of the fixtures and fitting in our bathroom were the best money can buy (and we were only in a standard room!!). The truffle gnocchi served at dinner was incredible (even superior to that served at the Cipriani the week before) and we were treated to sampling a 50 year old balsamic vinegar with our main course. When we told the reception it was our honeymoon, complimentary Prosecco was served immediately and like all great boutique establishments the owner of the hotel came to our table to take away the last dishes from our delicious dinner and confirm that everything was alright with our food. Where is this hotel's fifth star!!!!!
