Ah Porticcioli Boutique Apartments

The property is very clean, new and airy. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop terrace both around the pool and near the bar; you can have a drink or a lunch there. We easily spent most of the day there, our dog could also join us at the bar terrace. The pool was also amazing and we spent quite some time there :) our room was spacious and we very much liked the balcony. We appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped, same for the bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and professional. There is a tiny little beach in front of the hotel. We stayed here for four nights in September with our dog who got a toy, a blanket and bowls, which was very lovely. Highly recommended :)

This is not a significant inconvenience but we struggled with the food choices a little bit. The hotel restaurant is tailored to more of a fine dining, while we were looking forward to having an Italian pizza and “ordinary” pasta which unfortunately was not on the menu. We had a breakfast only once but when we came (fair to say, about 30mins before it ended) the choices were rather limited so it is recommended to be early. Otherwise the food was delicious :) Regarding the position at the lake, a car is necessary to get everywhere, there is no nice path around the lake, no park, square or other place to walk to, everything was behind a fence, no near-by cafe, bar or other restaurant. A pavement is only next to a very frequented road which was impossible to walk with a dog (it was also in the sun all the time). However this is no fault of the hotel! :)

The view, it was breathtaking. The pool. The attention to detail is second to none. Free use of washing machines. The lovely staff, (The cleaner was great and really friendly) The beautiful clean, modern well equipped apartment.

A minor point is that it is a 20 minute walk to the closest restaurant. However we knew that when we booked. The walk is stunning along the lake, and the steps burn off all of the pasta!!

Beautiful hotel with superfriendly staff. We were warmly welcomed and the place felt comfortable and fuctional from day one. Very clean rooms with a nice design. Loved the bakery service, were you can order bread and other pastries to your room.

There weren't any restaurants nearby besides the hotel's own - which was not too child friendly.

Excellent view on Salo, luxury appartment with all you need.

Some stairs or similar to get easy into the lake for swimming would be good!

When they say "soundproof" I think of a music recording studio. They mean something else...all the sounds outside were perfectly audible - vacuums, lawn mowers, cars, arguments

Amazing apartment) excellent apartment complex with a magical view of Gardo! Silence, peace, comfort, there is everything for life and work remotely. Positive staff, the location is beautiful 30 minutes walk to the historic Salo with its coziness and love. We recommend 100% and will definitely come back!

nice location and quiet cul de sac road by the lake, with views onto Salo et Gardone R. The lady serving breakfast was very nice.

Rooms are small, as shower room is disproportionate. The room itself is c 16m2/170sqf. The Deluxe room only difference with the standard room is a small backyard patio by the door entrance, on a public corridor. In any other hotel it would not warrant that labelling, let alone a price difference as applied here. Management was deaf to any claim i tried to make. Finally, check in was supposed to be online only if arriving after 19h30, but we were pressed to do so by 18h. Not a big deal but is a reflection of the average quality of the place.

Our stay was amazing. There's no other way to put it. I have to admit that I was a little hesitant to send my check in documents in advance but that vanished as soon as I got there. Everything worked out perfectly. I can only recommend the hotel. The staff is very attentive and extremely nice. The whole building has just been built and everything is new and clean. There are plenty of spacious parking spaces. The room has everything you can imagine, all the appliances and utensils are new. Impecable attention to detail, from the little plastic covering the remote controls (due to covid) to the new plates and glasses, to the extra cleaning devices available in case you need them. The room is very nicely decorated and everything feels nice and new, clean and very cozy! It has a mesmerizing view of Salò and the lake. It is so close to the water that you have the feeling that you are on a boat! It is definitely something to remember.

The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable. But then again, sofas are not meant to be beds haha

Tolle und ruhige Lage direkt am Ufer des Lago di Garda mit sensationellem Blick auf Salo... unkomplizierter Self-Checkin am Anreisetag...moderne Ausstattung des Apartements, kostenloser Parkplatz in der Garage und der Spaziergang entlang der Seepromenade bis nach Salo...

Das Appartement war schön, zu dritt ausreichend. Ausblick auf den See wunderschön.

Ein Tag vor Anreise erfahren, dass das Restaurant von Mo-Do Ruhetag hat. Hotel abseits. Frühstück: Salat nicht frisch, Rührei aus der Packung, Saft tetra Packung, Käse: Emmentaler, Gorgonzola, Mozzarella. Wurst: Mortadella, Salami, Schinken jeden Tag das gleiche. Bar geschlossen, Poolbar bei schlechten Wetter geschlossen (17 Grad, bewölkt). Toilettenpapier 1 lagig, Toilettenspülung schafft das Papier trotzdem nicht, mindestens 2x spülen. Sehr teuer für das alles... Kommt für uns nicht mehr in Frage. Ich weiß nicht, ob das im Sommer anders ist, aber Ende Oktober nicht zu empfehlen.

Traumhafter Blick auf den See. Der beheizte Pool auf dem Dach ist die Wucht. Das Frühstücksbüffet für italienische Verhältnisse vergleichsweise umfangreich.

Auch wenn wir sehr zufrieden waren, vielleicht preislich einen Tick zu hoch.

Sehr sauber, überall wird laufend geputzt. Freundliches Personal, alles bestens in der Unterkunft.

Das zugehörige Restaurant ist eine Zumutung... wenig Auswahl, Musik ist viel zu laut - und die Auswahl katastrophal (abends blues, morgens ständig dieselbe Playlist... wenn man fragt, heisst es "dem Chef gefällt das"). Morgenbuffet mit einer Sorte Brötchen, immer die gleichen 2 Confitüren zur Auswahl, kalte Eier, und als Früchte konnte man Ananas, Ananas oder Ananas wählen.

Uns hat die Lage des Hotels sehr gut gefallen. Wir sind mit unserem Hund verreist und waren sehr begeistert von der Freundlichkeit und das wir unseren Hund in jeden Bereich des Hotels mitnehmen konnten. Die Zimmer und die ganze Anlage waren sehr gepflegt und sauber. Außerdem waren ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze verfügbar.

Das Frühstück ist sehr einseitig, aber ausreichend. Wir fanden es sehr schade, dass die Bar auf der Terrasse schon so früh geschlossen hat. Der Service auf der Terrasse war am Abend teilweise sehr überfordert und man hat lange auf seine Bestellung gewartet. Hier könnte man überlegen, ob man eine Servicekraft mehr einplant. Preis/Leistung fanden wir bei den Speisen oben auf der Terrasse nicht übereinstimmend.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am See, eine schmale Straße führt dorthin. Es ist dort ruhig und der Blick auf den See ist toll. Das Frühstück ist zwar eintönig aber gut. Auf Bestellung bekommt man kostenlos diverse Kaffeevariationen. Autos können kostenlos in der Tiefgarage geparkt werde, das ist super.

Neben dem Hotel befindet sich eine Tankstelle für Boote. Es riecht tagsüber nach Benzin, das ist unangenehm und ungesund. Für Spaziergänge mit dem Hund muss man zur Hauptverkehrsstraße und dort einen schmalen Fußweg gehen. Einen Weg am See entlang gibt es nicht. Der „hauseigene Strand“ ist zum See hin schlecht zugänglich aufgrund von großen Steinen, die es zu überwinden gilt, wenn man dort baden möchte. Badeschuhe und Klettervermögen sind unerlässlich. Entgegen vieler Einträge hier ist das Baden der Hunde nicht erlaubt. Der Strand ist öffentlich und deswegen ist es Hunden nicht erlaubt, dort zu baden. So sagt es auch die Rezeption. Im Restaurant und an der Rooftop-Bar läuft ständig zu laute Musik, das nervte. Wir hatten an einem Morgen um 06:30 Uhr einen Feueralarm - zum Glück ein Fehlalarm. Dennoch war es dem Management weder möglich, den Alarm innerhalb der folgenden 1 1/2 Stunden abzustellen (wir mussten das Hotel verlassen, denn der Lärm war für die Hunde und uns unerträglich), noch im Nachgang ein Wort der Erklärung oder Entschuldigung zu finden. Beides halten wir für unangemessen. Das Restaurant gehört nach Aussage des Chefkellners nicht zum Hotel. Wir haben es nicht genutzt. Unklar ist für uns, wer der Betreiber des Hotels ist. Hierüber findet man keine Angaben, weder auf der Homepage noch in den AGBs. Das wirkt unseriös. Insgesamt gibt es von dem Personal wenig persönliche Ansprache, Informationen oder Freundlichkeit.

Es war rundum perfekt! Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, alles sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten alles, was wir gebraucht haben. Parkplätze direkt am Hotel, Waschmaschinen im Keller, der Poolbereich ein Traum! Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig und toll eingerichtet.
