Salo is such a lovely town and by far the nicest we went to around Lake Garda. Unlike some other towns, the main coastal road does not go through the middle of it, so it is more peaceful and clean and the wide pedestrianised promenade is just lovely with pretty views across the bay. The hotel sits right on the promenade with the good restaurant having seating inside and outside on the promenade and is also close to where ferrys can take you to other towns around Lake Garda.
We had a suite with Balcony and Lake view – a duplex room with a good sized living area, a balcony and then the upstairs ensuite bedroom – when you lay down in bed you have great view across the bay which is particularly nice to wake up to. Our bedrooms entry and living area was on the third floor and the bedroom on the fourth floor with an internal staircase (of course) so there was no noise from the restaurant and it had good views from the balcony.
Cristina provided an excellent buffet breakfast that you could eat outside with a lovely view across the bay. Though on the pedestrianised promenade, it was deserted, very peaceful and delightful for our 8am breakfast.
We really enjoyed staying here and the hotel team were so very welcoming and helpful despite our lack of Italian.
The hotel reception area could have been a lot tider but don't let that put you off as we still had a good stay there and the team there were wonderful!

Location -amazing. Right on the waterfront and super close to old city center. Room is beautiful and clean. Bed is comfortable. Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff. The shower with view to the water is super cool! The restaurant makes great dinner (but closed on one day of the week - ask the staff)
My only complaint is about the pillows - a bit hard.

Location was fabulous. Right on the lake. The BEST breakfast food I have ever had in any hotel or BnB ever! Staff were friendly and always helpful.

What an amazing hotel. The family that run it are just delightful and incredibly helpful. The location is perfect. We spent some time sitting in our balcony watching the world go by enjoying the beauty of the lake. Right in the heart of Salo with all the shops and restaurants as well as a couple of minutes to the ferry. The room was beautifully clean and breakfast was delicious.
The only thing I would mention is that the water from the shower splashes on the floor as there is no screen door. But it is not a big deal, just good to know!
