    The room was a bit small but was ok the sea view was fantastic, breakfast was lovely the whole hotel was really nice.

    Cumberland Hotel in Eastbourne is very well located, right in front of Sea and most of the rooms do provide sea view, ours definitely did and enjoyed watching free band performance at Bandstand from our room. Looks a bit rustic from outside but interiors are very well maintained with large size rooms and clean bathrooms. Staff has been extremely courteous with us, loved the way we were treated while we stayed there. Food is authentic with plenty of choices including vegetarian ones. Overall excellent experience, recommend anyone staying in Eastbourne to choose this one.

    We were just at this hotel for one night whilst visiting family in the area. Room was nice and big, we slept well and no issues at all. We had a shower & breakfast prior to leaving. Breakfast was okay, we didn’t really have much anyway.

    Lovely staff,very accommodating,helpful. The hotel needs renovation!!!! I had very bad sleep. We spent just one night there and If we have to stay longer I will book another hotel . I hope the hotel can be renovated soon. Location is perfect.
