Reception near to square
But hotel also has access to promonade/beach level via lift also gated instead of walking down many stairs

The hotel itself was alright: beachfront, 2 swimming pools (ground floor and 6th floor which is bit smaller).
What was disappointing was the attitude of some staff ie lack of customer service. They were not friendly & helpful. For example, my partner asked if in case they have a fan because the aircon was not as cool. A simple “no” from them would have sufficed. But the receptionist was snarky in saying that we have aircon and if that’s not cool enough, then they can’t do anything about it and it’s not their problem. It was an unnecessary passive-aggressive remark.
You would greet staff on the way and some would just ignore you.
PS: be careful not to slip / fall near their pool area. My partner slipped and fell. Nobody came and asked a simple “are you ok”. There was a lifeguard who just looked from afar then did not do anything. Fair enough my partner did manage to stand up after about 10-15 seconds. However, his ankle was painful and starting to swell after a few minutes. So we have to approach the lifeguard for an ice pack, only then he stood from his watch-post and went to the kitchen to give us ice cubes wrapped in kitchen towel.
