BLUESEA Marieta & Spa

We had a fantastic stay at the Marieta Hotel & Spa in Gran Canaria and would definitely recommend it. The hotel was modern, spotlessly clean and very well maintained throughout. Our room was comfortable and cleaned to a high standard every day. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The rooftop area was a particular highlight, with a great atmosphere and amazing views, and the spa was perfect for relaxing during our stay. The location was also excellent, with the beach, shops, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. What made the holiday even more special was the amazing people we met along the way. We made some great memories and genuinely feel like we made friends for life. Overall, we had a brilliant experience from start to finish and would happily stay at the Marieta Hotel & Spa again. It was a holiday we will always remember!

Location is excellent, on the very beginig of Playa des Ingles or Maspalomas, like 30 m from the coast. There is supermarket in front of the hotel. The parking around is free. Hotel is very clean. Rooms vere cleaned daily, very well and very professional. Lobby, restaurant, bars, pool...were also very clean. Meals were rich, with great variety of food, well and fancy prepared. Staff was very polite. Rooftop and pool downstairs were also great for spending some time there. Great value for the money. For sure we will reccomend it

Aircondition in the room was quite weak. But it was fine.

The hotel has a great location close to promenade and local bus routes. Hotel was clean and staff friendly.

The beer was flat and for San Miguel didn't taste the best. The food was nice in the evening. The breakfast was not the best for this star rating. The bacon was hard, the sausages on certain mornings resembled Hot Dog sausages. The food choice was limited and not as hot as i would have expected.The TV in the room had lots of channels with no signal. Having said that rhe hotel did meet my expectations based on my opinions.

The staff were mostly excellent. Africa on reception gave us a great check-in, and Nico and Christobal were friendly. The rooms are modern (recently refurbished) and look nice, though small. I also highly recommend the spa; the back and neck massage was lovely (€50). Regarding food, the lamb and pork were cooked perfectly

Value & Rating: Despite the refurbishment, this feels like a 2 or 3-star hotel, not a 4-star. The price we paid did not reflect the experience. Hygiene is a major issue. We found a cockroach in our room, and I actually had a cockroach crawling in my hair during dinner. Entertainment: The atmosphere before the show was terrible—quiet as a library with no music. Shows start too late (9:30 PM), lack variety (aimed at 60+), and have no warm-ups (quiz/bingo). There is no stage, so performers are on the hard floor and guests walk behind them. Food & Drink: Undercooked potatoes/squid, rice too al dente, and cold chips. Avoid the banana mousse (tastes like perfume). Red wine is served cold; staff were dismissive when we insisted on room temperature. General: We didn't like the €10 towel deposit or the awkward gym location. While the WiFi seems better, it was annoying that it disconnected us every time we returned to the room. Verdict: We will not recommend or return to this hotel.
