Some aspects of this hotel are 5-star. Excellent location for visiting Versailles, yet enjoying the tranquility around the ponds, while the grounds of the hotel made for a relaxing stay. Some staff were really excellent and went out their way to assist. Breakfast was excellent but evening meal was sligjtly disappointing

Charming hotel in a very charming location that is a short e-bike ride from Versailles. Definitely a good place to get into some nature in a unique hotel with a unique setting.

Very peaceful place! Nice walks around the ponds and in the woods behind the hotel. Close enough to Versailles to take advantage of the sights, if you wish. Far enough away to be very quiet. Our room was really beautiful and comfortable. The outdoor terrace is a great place for breakfast or a coffee. The bar was a nice spot for a glass of champagne. And we had a fabulous meal at Le Corot, the starred restaurant in the hotel. Go here if you want peace and quiet in a sophisticated environment. Don't go if you want the energy of Paris proper.

We stayed overnight with our son and daughter as our daughter had a flight booked from CDG the next day. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our rooms were large and clean and good value for money. We ate in the Café des Artistes and the food was excellent. The restaurant leads out to a pretty terrace with drinking area overlooking the lakes. There is underground parking but also a public car park across the road. This is a great hotel, close to Versailles and Paris, but without the hustle and bustle.

A perfect respite from the urban pace of Paris. Walk for hours in the beautiful woods surrounding the hotel; eat in the outstanding, Michelin-starred restaurant; look out over the ponds that Corot painted.

Great stay. This is our second visit to Les Etangs de Corot and we had a lovely time. This is such a little nature paradis only 30mins outside of Paris. Would really recommend for a week end escape! The restaurant is also lovely with view on the lake.

Great location. Outside of Paris, about a 15-20 min walk to the metro heading towards Paris. They are a short 10 min drive from Versailles and they offer bikes if you’d like to use those instead.

Property was very charming, very helpful staff who assisted us with our bikes and parking on arrival. Rooms were of an excellent standard and very comfortable for our overnight stay. The only reason I mark the hotel down is that it did not offer any vegetarian meals on their menu; when I enquired if there were options available we were offered side dishes only, which given the standard of dining in the hotel, this was hugely disappointing, especially after travelling to get to the hotel (from Wales!) and after a day of exploring Versailles, we would have liked nothing better than to relax in the hotel with a meal and drinks, but this was not an option.

It my second time at the hotel. Surprisingly. staff at the SPA was not very helpful to assist - they were more occupied with chatting and personal issues on their computers. Also, the Gym should be placed back to the room with windows. Now, it feels like being in a closet. Rooms need refurbishment, AC was making noises.Otherwise, staff at the reception and breakfast were very friendly and professional. Breakfast is outstanding in terms of quality and choice.

The hotel has a beautiful lake and forest for walking and biking(bike rental is included). If weather is good, you can bike to palace of Versailles. Hotel staff are super friendly and helpful!!

The hotel and gardens are nice and well maintained. The surrounding area is very beautiful with a lake and walking paths. Rooms are big & comfortable. The front staff was excellent. They were attentive, pleasant and quick to assist with our questions and needs. The restaurant and bar were very good with an excellwnt staff. Only drawback is a 1/2 mile to a grocery store.

Very nice hotel situated close to Versailles if you drive. Parking is free and you also get use of the spa which was nice. Room was very nice, clean, great bathroom and very large bed. If you are visiting Versailles palace and you want a spacious room and a nice spa to relax in afterwards I can highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was ok but BE Careful. I was charged twice. Once by hotels.com for £620 the other £500 from hotel .There were also fees on top of this.Hotel admitted fault but a week later I’m still waiting for my refund.Also why did I pay £620 for a room worth £500?... that is NOT a saving but a substantial increase.
