The hotel and staff are lovely. The location in Old Montreal makes it very easy to walk to many nearby restaurants and attractions, and though it is a touristy area the hotel itself is quiet.
It's noteworthy that, while there is an elevator inside the hotel, there are front stairs (i.e. it's not a fully accessible property).
If you're inclined to take the stairs inside the hotel to get to your room, you'll see some really neat signed movie posters.
