I have never stayed in a hotel with such shabby condition! There were no tissues,no shampoo,2 small bath towels2 wash cloths,one hand towel. The carpet was so gross,filthy!

Worn out hotel. Sour smell in room. Kitchenette with nothing, and only a small bar of soap in the bathroom. But a safe neighborhood close to the interstate.

My reservation was canceled by the hotel before my arrival due to a plumbing issue, but I didn’t receive any information about that until I arrived learned I had no room. Had to find another hotel at 9pm on a Saturday night.

Easy check in quiet. The side doors were unlocked at night didn’t need the key card to get back in. Thought the king size room would be nicer

I didn't have high expectations based on the overall 7.0 rating. However, I did not anticipate the rooms and overall facility to be as filthy as it was. A repulsive smell permeated the room I was given. After two nights of no sleep due to the severity of the smell, I communicated the issues to the manager who moved me to another slightly less disgusting room, and agreed to remediate the situation by discounting my rate. Several follow-up attempts I made to contact the manager were subsequently ignored. I do not recommend staying at this neglected facility.

Dirty rooms I want a refund.

The room was dirty, stains everywhere and globs of things flung on walls in each room. The shower dripped non-stop. Pillows were flat. The room smelled horrible. No coffee or breakfast, like the description suggested. People wandering around outside, standing in bushes, made me uncomfortable. Lots of yelling heard throughout the stay. Staff asked me if I used a “ghost card” when checking in, which I’m not sure even is to begin with, when I asked why the card used to hold the room was charged instead of paying at the property like I selected and paid extra for. This was a true “you get what you pay for” property. Very unhappy.

Our room was sub-par to say the least. Carpet was terrible, Just filthy. Old BBQ sauce on the table. The Television was old and outdated. Not to mention whoever was staying in the room above was up at 1am in the morning running, jumping, etc.

It was a great experience for me staying at this hotel for two nights, conveniently located, clean, quiet and comfortable bed.

The hotel had water logging on a floor and hence could not accommodate me. I had to walk down the road to a different hotel and get a room. This is bad

I have stayed at the Extended Stay in Farmington Hills multiple times since 2021. I love the cleaniness of rooms, excellent customer service, safe, quiet, multiple dining options, & easy parking.

Nice queit place and clean room especially since they allowed pets! Head up.. They charge for exchanges of towels if you stay a couple nights( we were given 2 large towels and 2 wash clothes for our 2 nights stayed (we check in on Friday and left on Sunday) and there are No toiletries! They offer kitchenette(there is a good size fridge, microwave and even a stop) but No kitchenware . NO cups nor utensils. No Ice machine and the worst thing is..NO COFFEE!☕

I stayed in room 323 and it smelled like homeless people and the air conditioner smelled like somebody peed in it.

Met Dre the receptionist, clean shave , solid guy . Made me feel very welcomed. I enjoyed my night.

This "suite" should not have been rented. The "full kitchenette" had a giant hole in the counter where the stove was supposed to be. There were MISSING APPLIANCES, MISSING FIXTURES, EXPOSED WIRES, STANDING WATER and conditions that were not at all in keeping with what I prepaid for. (A King suite with kitchenette.) The place as so bad that I called the front desk to see if the room had been ROBBED. (Yes, the door was also open when we arrived - another major safety concern.) I provided Expedia with six pictures to document the conditions and not only did they NOT issue a refund, but they continue to book this UNSAFE, INACCURATELY REPRESENTED property. Standing water and exposed wires are not a great combo! Meanwhile, you, Expedia, the booking agency, CONTINUES TO BOOK THIS PROPERTY. So, you know it's inaccurate, you know it's unsafe, but you will continue to promote it on your site, and there is nothing further you can do. That's garbage. If we had tried to use the kitchenette (with standing water in the sink, exposed wires in the hole in the counter where the stove was supposed to be) and had say, been injured or electrocuted? That would have been a liability issue for Extended Stay America. Now that you have been duly informed that there are safety issues, provided with details, and photographic evidence? Well, now if someone dies or is injured at this property, having booked with Expedia? You are equally liable and aware. Shame on you.

Stay at this hotel if you want NO amenities! No ice machines, no housekeeping services, you have to trade towels to get new ones. The carpet in our room has not been cleaned in a very long time if ever. The only saving grace was the front desk staff who were very nice and hospitable! Will never stay again!

The staff was friendly. I mainly interacted with Carter and he was very kind.

It was ok. Carpet was really dirty, but the bed was comfortable. Walls are thin. We heard a lot of thumping (like kids running) above us and heard someone sneeze in the night. We appreciate the efforts they're putting in to update. The staff were very friendly. So would we stay there again? Yes

I loved everything about Extended Stay Farmington. I have stayed there over a dozen times!!!

They gave our rooms away blaming the "3rd party booking company (hotels.com) for having a 'glitch' in their system. I purchased the travel insurance thinking if something happened it would cover any problems. The Extended Stay in Farmington Hills, NI booked our rooms to a business that wanted a whole floor. The manager lied and said he tried to contact me. Hotels.com sent a confirmation email 3 days before our trip confirming our rooms. They overbooked, blamed Hotels.com and me and were going to give us a studio room with 2 beds but no discount or comp for screwing us out of our rooms. Horrible situation, horrible hotel.

Quiet

The rooms floors were absolutely disgusting. The entire room was just kind of out of date. The lights above one bed flickered and then went out completely at one point. There was nothing in the kitchenette, and the refrigerator was gross on the outside. The TV in the room is on, but the remote did not have a cover on the back. Just overall not what I was expecting from an Extended Stay.

Hotel is an older property in need of some TLC, but it was clean. It worked out well for my four day stay including having my small dog with me.

The bathroom had only one soup, not even shampoo

I did not stay. I checked out as soon as I checked in and went to the Fair Field Inn in back of this hotel.
