The Black Swan in the centre if Helmsley is ideal for visiting the local area, comfortable clean and well appointed. Staff helpful and pleasant. The menus for dinner and breakfast were excellent, served fresh and hot. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely consider booking the hotel again in future.

It was very nice, only criticism I’d have is we arrived 10 mins late for breakfast which we’d paid for, so were told they missed it 😔they hadn’t even finished clearing away and considering they serve food all day, I’d have thought they could of offered us something rather than recommend a cafe by the river, so a bit disappointing on that score.
