The breakfast was good but not on the premises and we had to search for the restaurant providing our booked meal.

The location was awesome since we wanted to play the St. Andrews Courses and be there early in the morning.
The building is old as are the funishings and carpeting but the location more than made up for it. We did have one issue with the kettle and the owners' son came right over and did not make us feel bad for our stupidity of placing the coffee in the kettle and causing a leak. He could not have been nicer or more understanding.

We enjoyed the location as it is close to the centre of St Andrews. The room was clean, spacious and had comfy beds. The bathroom was modern and good shower pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed assistance. All facilities were in working order. Good size of TV and variety of channels too.
As much as the location was central, our room was on the ground floor and beside a road which was busy with cars and people. We were also beside the entrance to the property which was self entry so was quite noisy. Although the bathroom was nice, the shower kept flooding onto the floor and there was no mop to soak up the excess water. The room was also cold and we had to request a heater but staff were quick to help us with that.
