Annandale Guest House

Lovely guesthouse in great location for all that St Andrews has to offer. Breakfast was freshly prepared to order & was served with a smile. Plenty of free on road parking in the vicinity. There were lots of returning guests during our stay which is always a good sign 👍🏼 our room was compact with small ensuite shower room with comfortable bed

All good 👍🏼

The hotel was fantastic! The room was excellent with very comfortable beds and pillows! Breakfast in the morning was made to order and simply wonderful. Fiona the host was lovely, she was very helpful when we had difficulty ordering a cab and even offered to drive us to the train station herself! Highly recommend!!!!

Nothing we did not like.

Great location and lovely staff ( Kevin was extremely hospitable!)

Nothing - everything was lively

The situation of the guesthouse is just a couple of streets away from the busy town centre, which was nice. We were also able to park our car opposite in the same street. The room was clean and welcoming, albeit very small, we were in room 2.

There were many students partying into the early hours in the street outside. Nothing that Annandale could, of course. Other guests letting doors bang loudly kept us awake too. We didnt sleep well at all that night. The pillows supplied were too thick and very uncomfortable, I had a stiff neck in the morning. The other problem was there was extremely low water pressure and so we couldn't even take a shower at 07:00, on a Sunday. We also left before breakfast as we just wanted to go home after the abortive night's lack of sleep. We left at 07:30 for our long journey back to Oxfordshire. The room was OK but not being able to sleep very well spoiled it for us, no shower pressure was bad too, especially so early in the morning!
