This place has just about everything. I have now stayed in this exact apartment four times. It is not super luxury but it is truly cozy and a modern build. There are only three other apartments on this floor (7th floor), so noise is not much of an issue. It has a nice little balcony overlooking the playground, the bathroom is decent-sized, and the main room has plenty of room to stretch out. The Teika Plaza is just across the street, which has a Rimi market that is open until 22 and a pharmacy, so if you don't want food delivery or you forgot your high-end hair conditioner, shopping is very close. There is a tram stop at the end of the street (about a 5 minute walk), that will take you into central Riga. There are four chairs at the main table, which would make for a tight meal for four people, but if you are alone or two people, there is plenty of room. If you read Russian, there are plenty of books in Russian on the bookshelves. I really love this place. Every time I think I have forgotten something, I end up finding something suitable to replace it in the apartment. A basket of phone chargers in case you forgot one, pods for the clothes washer, pods for the dish washer, a little blue electronic garbage stall unlock so you don't have to keep smelly garbage in the place (the garbage collection is out the back and to the left, behind the next building over). Also Teika Plaza as a bottle return.

First, know that all of the things mentioned here are minor inconveniences in my opinion. Unless one of these things really matters to you, do not let these things deter you from staying here. This is just so you know what to expect and maybe mitigate them in some way if they are high on your list of needs. First, there isn't much of a view. Even on the 7th floor, there is not much to see out the window except other apartment buildings. Second, there is no microwave oven. Again minor, but a bit annoying to have to put leftover pizza in the oven to reheat. The heat is controlled by the building, meaning if you are there in April and it is cold, it is possible the building heat might have already been turned off. There is no clothes dryer. A washer, but only a drying rack for clothes, so if you are doing laundry inside the apartment, plan on having the laundry horse out for several hours (it fits nicely under the TV without blocking it). The shower water temp changes as others in the building use water. Personally, this is the most annoying aspect of the entire place. The water will go cold and hot, depending on what other tenants are doing. Also in the shower, there are not knobs but a lift handle, so you have to be careful, especially when washing your face or you might bump it and change the water temp, or turn the water off all together. Also in the bathroom, the sink faucet has the strangest setup I have ever seen. It is one turning wheel that goes full cold and then eventually turns to hot. So if you want hot water, you have to turn the cold on full, then keep turning to get the hot to come on. This means, if you want the water to be the hottest, you have to have the water stream on full blast. If you plan on cooking, look through the drawers to make sure the correct pots or pans are available before you buy ingredients. It is a small apartment after all.

Having stayed in various apartments across Riga, I have to say that this apartment was THE BEST! Everything was perfect!! Location was close to Centre (about 15-20minutes on tram), there’s a small grocery store across the street and also a Lidl nearby, close to shopping Centre. Apartment was spacious, easy to navigate. All facilities were extremely helpful and useful, with cooking equipment and necessities available too (spices, oil, sugar etc.). The host Jeļena was extremely helpful and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible, even checking up making sure everything is going well with our stay. If you’re driving, parking is simple with the Mobilly app, bound to be a space available within the territory , at 6.50€ for 24hours. Definitely will stay again at this property :)
