The location was fine for me. It is about a mile out of the city centre. It’s a flat walk to the city centre so fairly easy for most people to walk. There is also a tram stop about 1 minute walk from the property that takes you into the city centre. The property was around €40 per night, which is good value in any capital city. The host was always available to answer questions and was always helpful.
The bed. There wasn’t a proper mattress. It was a divan bed base with what can best be described as a couple of inches thick mattress topper rather than a full mattress. There is no oven (just a microwave). All in all, while the property wasn’t filthy, it could have been cleaner - although it wasn’t so bad that I felt I had to clean it before I settled in (although there was an empty coke bottle under the bed from a previous person).
