Located on the outskirts of Jemgum with an unobstructed view of the dike and pastures, this approximately 100
m² Fehnhaus by the cow pasture can accommodate up to 4 people. After arriving via the A31
and taking the Jemgum exit, you’ll find a private parking space right outside the door at
. With a little luck, you’ll be greeted by cows and sheep grazing nearby at
. A large wooden deck with comfortable patio furniture invites you to relax at
. A grill and fire pit are available for your use. Two e-bikes
can be rented for a daily fee of 15 euros each. Cycle along
the adjacent Dollart Route all the way to Leer or the fishing village of Ditzum.
Afterward, the outdoor sauna invites you to relax; you can book it for 25 euros per day.
Since January 2020, the municipality of Jemgum has been charging a visitor’s fee (year-round). For more information, visit the Jemgum municipality website or contact your local tourist information office.
Fehnhaus an der Kuhweide:
The lovingly restored and furnished two-story Fehnhaus features a
bedroom with a large double bed on the upper floor. The spacious
closet offers plenty of space to store your belongings. The kitchen is
fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, espresso machine, and
sparkling water maker. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. A washing machine and
hair dryer are provided. The living room on the first floor has a large dining area
and a cozy sofa/TV nook that can be partitioned off and used as a second
bedroom. Relax by the cast-iron fireplace or in the newly built outdoor sauna.
The property has Wi-Fi.
Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and check-out is from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
