The location to the Gautrain is fantastic as well as to the Mandela square /Mall my room on the top floor was quite small compare to the other hotels I stayed in in Cape Town , breakfast as a 4 star hotel was disappointing considering the cost and the worst was having returned to the hotel after the rugby , sitting down in the onsite bar /restaurant and ordering a medium /well-done sirloin with mash and pepper sauce , it took more than 45 mins to be served. When it arrived everything and I mean everything was ice cold . The Steak was rare/medium. I obviously returned it. In a 4 star hotel restaurant one would expect the following, new meal to be prepared completely from scratch and a rush to be put on the order. In stead I waited a further 35 mins to receive my plate back, new Mash , new sauce but the same steak that had had the the previous pepper sauce crapped off it and now was completely well done and was as chewie as shoe leather in fact I think it could well have been reheated in a Microwave oven. To top it all the waitress had added a non-alcoholic beer to my tab which I did not have so that also had to be corrected.

Very disappointing stay. I rarely complain, but this experience was unacceptable.
I was on a work trip and the Wi-Fi could not connect to my laptop. There was no IT support, and after waiting nearly two hours I was told nothing could be done. I lost around 1.5 days of work. ***, an employee there knows for the complaint.
Despite requesting not to be placed on the 9th floor due to heavy luggage, I was given a smoking room I never asked for, with an unpleasant smell and no option to change.
There was no electricity for half a day, requiring several complaints before assistance. The room was also unclean, with dust and torn papers (photos available). There were white alike dust in the kettle.
The food caused an allergic reaction, leaving me with red spots on my skin. Management refused to register my complaint formally despite evidence.
Given the overall experience, I believe a refund is justified. I do not recommend this hotel. Please do get in touch with me, i am not able to upload all the pictures on this app, but i would like to share you all the pictures.
