    If you want a 'no frills' stay in Montreal - this is your place. Clean beds, cool a/c and minutes walk to STM/Metro. But can also just walk downtown 10mins. Also varied food choices incl a deli next door that serves delicious (inxpensive but HUGE) Montreal Smoked Meat!

    Our hotel room felt clean when we first walked in however it didn’t take long to realize it wasn’t. We found a used tooth brush on the floor in our room and our a/c was broken. We had to go out and buy a fan since it can be really hot in the summer at night. In addition we chose to book a room which we used the communal bathroom, which we only saw cleaned once in the 3 days we stayed. The shower we assumed ran out of hot water at one point since we took multiple freezing cold showers. For over $*** a night for a unclean room and shared bathroom it had us wishing the trip would just be over.

    Only good thing is the location. It is walking distance to Notre Dame Bascilica. Most of the rooms have shared washroom so be mindful when making your booking. VERY small rooms. Price is for the location only so if you just want to crash for a night or few, then this is a good spot. Not ideal for families with small kids.
