The Zubeida Boutique Resort

Absolutely gorgeous resort with lots of beautiful greenery and a pristine stretch of beach. A little distance from the centre of Diani and so quite peaceful. The villas were beautifully furnished with lots of comfy places to lie down. I saw 3 different species of monkeys in the trees/grounds. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious, with substantive breakfasts included. Moses, the manager, recommended a Wasini island tour and Mombasa city tour to me and both were great and good value. The villa includes a water dispenser which was a great touch.

I had a little difficulty with the hot water system, but the staff were able to fix it for me. Be aware that the visiting monkeys like jumping on the villa roofs and can make a bit of noise - part of the charm, but they can disrupt your sleep occasionally. Kitchen in the villa is pretty basic - but I wasn't doing any cooking, so not a problem for me!

The property was excellent, and the staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. It truly felt like a home away from home, making my stay both comfortable and memorable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for outstanding hospitality and a relaxing experience.
