Tahira Villa

Tahira Villa is a really lovely place to stay. Staff were so welcoming. The compound is totally secure and is nicely landscaped. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Bed linen was changed after every two days. The kitchen was well-equipped for self-catering, and the washing-up was always done by the girls before I got to it. The pool was great - I enjoyed it several times a day. And I noted that the water quality was checked every day. Galu Beach is the quieter end of Diani Beach, which I prefer. It's only 5-10 mins to walk to the beach and very safe. There are many tuk tuks around to get you to Ukunda for shopping etc. (it's a bit too far to walk) and a few taxis as well. I loved staying here, and definitely plan to return. Thanks to Fauzia and the girls who looked after me.

A beautiful, well-equipped self-catering option with comfortable living space, generous balconies, and access to a well-maintained pool. The villa host Fauzia is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The villa is very close to the beach, small convenience stores, and some affordable restaurant options. Other amenities are only a short tuk tuk ride away. The location is peaceful and relaxing.

The staff were very flexible as my guests arrived very late in the night.

Consider serving breakfast as part of the package. I inquired about the same and was told that there was a Chef that could be contacted. Given the short notice, i didn't book that option. However, my guests included my elderly parents. Given they had travelled the whole day via train, having Tahira have the option of having breakfast served would've been a plus.
