I liked absolutely everything about my stay. The staff were incredibly helpful even before I arrived. My check-in was supposed to be at 16:00, but they kindly allowed me to check in already at 12:00, which I really appreciated. When I arrived, I had trouble finding the place (I’m usually terrible with maps 😄), but the receptionist came outside to meet me and personally guided me to the apartment. Within seconds, all the check-in formalities were completed, and I was shown my beautiful apartment. I also really appreciated the daily cleaning service, fresh towels every day, and the fact that the bathroom was always stocked with shower gel and hand soap. Everything was perfect: a very comfortable bed, TV with many international channels, modern bathroom, complete silence at night, and free Wi-Fi. Whenever I needed help, the staff responded immediately and were always kind and professional. The location was also excellent — right in the city center next to the main shopping street, on the corner of the Mango store, and less than a 10-minute walk to the train station. This made it very easy to explore not only Faro but also other beautiful places in the Algarve like Albufeira, Silves, Lagos, and those beautiful islands like Farol island, Culatra island and Deserta island during the week. After long, busy days of travelling, it was the perfect place to relax, recharge, and get ready for the next day of exploring Portugal.

Very clean and quiet apartment in a nice location.

The only disadvantage is that the bathroom doesn't have a door or a separator from the rest of the room.

Well located in centre of town, short walk to marina and old town, also an easy walk to train and bus stations. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. Well equipped and clean kitchen if you want to self-cater.

You don’t check in at the property itself, you have to collect the key from another location 5 minutes walk away. I was not informed of this by booking.com (app or confirmation email), so I wasted a lot of time looking for the address before eventually contacting the host who told me where to go to pick up the key. Fortunately I arrived during the day, so while annoying it wasn’t too stressful…but if it had been in the evening this would have been very stressful. Collecting the key from somewhere else isn’t a problem, but it’s really important to let guests know this in advance. While the room, bathroom and kitchen were clean, and the sheets and quilt had clearly been laundered, the bedding still had quite a lot of other people’s hair on it, which is not very pleasant.
