Casa Masaniello

I proprietari Chiara e Gianfranco sono stati gentilissimi e super premurosi. Il locale è molto bello e accogliente, in una favolosa zona del centro storico. Quando sei in casa ti senti bene e c'è una piacevole tranquillità.

We were met and let into the property and had a quick chat about its facilities and local restaurants etc. Couldn't have been more stress-free. The location was excellent, central to the old town but also very quiet. The air conditioning was excellent too - and we needed that! All facilities in the room were of very high quality which made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We had a day trip by bus to Alberobello and found the tourist information very helpful with other suggestions. We had some very good food in a range of restaurants and on our last day we discovered Ristorante Archi del Duca which we wished we had found earlier. We had a fantastic lunch there. Thank you for such a wonderful stay - loved Martina Franca and loved the accommodation. A wonderful break.

We loved our stay at Casa Masaniello! The friendly host maintained communication with us prior to our stay and met us in person at the apartment to hand over the keys. We had a bit of trouble finding the public parking lot and went a bit past the meeting time. Even though it was raining hard, the hosts waited for us outside to enter the apartment together and go over all the amenities and details. This beautiful, spacious apartment had the best design layout in all of our stays in Italy. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with cooking utensils, dishes and utensils. The host provided plentiful snacks and breakfast foods, from fresh cheese and beverages in the refrigerator, coffee and teas, jams, a loaf of bread, entire bag of cookies, olive oil and more. We had enough to fix ourselves breakfast each morning. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of storage with towel warmers, great water pressure and high quality toiletries. Basically, everything you can possibly need was thoughtfully placed in the room. In the kitchen, there is a glass window on the floor that shows an ancient well. It's very neat! Best of all is the location. The apartment is on the first floor of a building on the main street in Martina Franca. The shops are right next door and the main plazas are less than a block away in either direction. The room is very quiet because you enter a lobby before you enter the apartment. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time I am in town.
