B&B Le Saline

Clean and cosy . Very supportive host

The property was really lovely, exactly what you want an B&B to be. Welcoming, clean, bright, easy to get to. We really didn’t want to leave.

All was perfect.

The host Stefano was very helpful, as was his onsite hostess (his mother!) The room was very nice, pleasantly decorated, and very clean, with a wonderful veranda and view.

Our only wish was that it would have offered the "breakfast" part of the B&B—but I think that had something to do with a booking.com promotion.

Host Stefano, “the Man”. Excellent. About a 10 min leisurely drive from Ortigia, the historical heart of Syracuse. Prems tucked away down a cul de sac. Easy to find - look for the big dark blue gate just to your right as you get to the end of the road. On street parking. No issues. Comms with Stefano excellent. Quiet location. We were travelling as a couple, with a suitcase and back pack each. We had the “green” room on the first floor. Very clean. Not an overly large room but a large comfy bed with a couple of side tables, perfect for us. Robe space we didn’t use. Good small fridge. En- suite spotless, but small. The standard Sicilian shower arrangement - 800 x 800 with 2 sliding doors. Good water pressure in the shower. We didn’t use the TV but did use WiFi. Good. Balcony overlooking the “back”, houses, semi rural setting, small sliver of ocean in the distance, very pleasant. Step out the door to the room and straight in front of you is a second, shared balcony with expansive views of the rural area, marsh and to your right, in the distance but close enough, Syracuse. Have the breakfast, Stefano prepares everything fresh, superb.
