Oasi Del Gabbiano

Had a great stay! The breakfasts were just right, and the staff was super friendly—their food recommendations were spot on. The pool was wonderful, and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. It’s also in a great location for exploring Syracuse and Ortigia.

We had hoped to be able to walk to and from dinner, but there was no sidewalk so walking was dangerous. It was super easy to drive the mile to the restaurants, so it was a minor inconvenience. Even with that in mind, I would highly recommend Oasi Del Gabbiano.

Oasis perfect name ! What a stunning place , lovely greeting from Roberta , room perfect , lots of info , didn’t use the pool but looked inviting , pretty gardens Amazing breakfast ! & the turtle pond

The bed was noisy - quietschendes Metallgestell. The road next to it - traffic noise.

Weird stay , it has everything to please but it doesn't fully. The option to dine there is very convenient and the food was really good. The cook is a gem, he actually takes the time to meet us and even tho he doesn't speak English he does speak German, Spanish and a bit of French. It was a pleasure to meet him and to listen his story It's easy to get there with the bus 23 from Syracuse bus station and about 45 minutes walks to the beaches in Isola.

The pool was dirty, all around we could notice a line of filthiness (check my photo) The breakfast is not geat various options but not home made cooking (industrial cakes and pastries, powder juice) It's very noisy , the road just nearby is very loud. Also we could hear someone talking very loudly not to say shouting until midnight, plus music , coming from downstairs where the family lives (the two nights we stayed). The walls are super thin and single glaze window. Everyone was nice enough , it's treated like a business but the way it's run lacks of heart. The all experience was average , while the price was very high.
