Casa Maravilla is located in the heart of classic Chianti, perched on a hill 550 m above sea level with some of the most picturesque scenery that nature can offer in the land of Siena and where the absolute protagonist is the green of the Chianti hills, dotted with vines and expanses of olive trees that stretch to the horizon. It is the owners' family home, a stone building with a spacious living room with large windows overlooking the garden. But it is outside, in the green luxuriant park that adorns the house, that it will be nice to relax, under the silent portico, in the gazebo for outdoor dining or in the wonderful panoramic swimming pool, with the complicity of a fantastic panorama. Set within the tiny medieval borgo of Vagliagli, which is about 500 m away, the house is just a few kilometres away from the wonderful borghi of Radda, Gaiole, Volpaia and Panzano with their breathtaking picture postcard views and a unique range of artistic, historical and delicious food and wine proposals. With daily excursions, facilitated by the beautiful panoramic roads, you can easily reach and visit the cities of Florence, San Gimignano or Volterra. The centre of Siena is about 10 km away.

Interior:
The house is on one floor, reached up a flight of 5 steps. From the portico you come to the main entrance that leads into the living area with lounge, dining room and kitchen (separated by a partition wall). From the living area, two French windows lead out to the panoramic terrace and then on to the gazebo with dining area. The floor is completed by a guest bathroom (with washing machine), a double bedroom and a twin bedroom that share a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with tub.

Park:
The house is set within a property of about one hectare, fenced with electro-welded mesh and mostly occupied by the olive grove that stretches from the pool to the valley below. The garden, which is spread over three levels on 1000 sq m di sloping terrain, includes lawn areas and a multitude of fruit trees, bushes of herbs, broom, roses and strawberry trees that form the ideal setting for enjoying the open panoramas offered on every side. Immersed in this corner of colour and privacy are the gazebo with outdoor dining area, a barbecue area, the portico with seating area and the panoramic swimming pool. The property is accessed through an automatic gate that leads after a few metres to the parking area, in the immediate vicinity of the entrance to the house.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool, open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October, is located in an area at the back of the house, overlooking a particularly charming scenario of the vines that surround the property and the Chianti countryside. It is reached from the house via a flight of steps. Trapezoidal in shape and measuring 6 x 12.5 m with the depth varying from 1.20 to 2.50 m, it is lined in PVC and has internal lights, chlorine purification and submerged steps for access to the water. In the sunbathing area are sunbeds, a pergola and a solar shower.

Pets: Yes. € 50,00 per animal per week to be paid on site.
