About this house rental
A true Cape Cod Gem located on the edge of the National Seashore and just 2 miles to Coast Guard Beach or Nauset Light Beach! You will love coming home after a day on the beach to this private house on a wooded lot on a quiet cul-de-sac road. All the bells and whistles you want in a vacation including outdoor shower, WIFI and A/C units to keep you cool on hot summer days. Main level offers large living room with ample seating and adjacent dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything for your Cape Cod Feast! Four spacious bedrooms include two queen bedrooms on the main level. One full size bathroom serves the main level. A second primary bedroom is found upstairs with a queen bed plus a twin bed. The fourth bedroom is also on the second level with another queen and twin bed combo. A second full bath serves both upstairs bedrooms. Enjoy outdoor living on the deck with patio furniture and new gas grill for 2025. Nice outside shower to rinse of the sand. Other amenities include, cable TV, DVD, high-speed internet, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave. Plenty of room for bikes and all your beach gear. Bring your kayak or rent one to enjoy close-by Nauset Marsh, Salt Pond and Orleans Town Cove. 2 miles to Nauset Light Beach and a short drive to all of the Bay beaches and ponds Eastham has to offer. Close to the Salt Pond Visitor Center with its biking and nature trails and convenient to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Public tennis courts at the High School just around the corner. Enjoy trendy shopping and art gallery hopping in Wellfleet, Orleans, and Chatham. Head to P-Town for the day. Take in a movie at the nearby Wellfleet Drive-In. Fine dining and family fun both within easy reach.

We loved our stay at this property. The kitchen is the most well equipped rental we’ve ever stayed in. The layout was perfect for two families. Close to everything! Only downside was the abundance of mosquitos this year :(

The location of this house is great. We were close to many beaches (5 minutes car ride)
The house fit confortably our 2 families of 4.

The only downsidewas the A/C units: they are present in each bedroom but they are very noisy. There is no central A/C

The property was well equipped and well kept. The location and set up was excellent for us and our adult kids. We loved the neighborhood and the proximity to beaches was great.
A few small things. The description said there was a DVD player. There was a great TV and access to streaming networks, but no DVD player. We played a family favorite through a laptop. No biggie!
The description does say window air conditioners. Although all the bedrooms did have window air conditioners, the lack of an air conditioner in the main living area made it uncomfortable on a very hot and muggy week. We figured out a way to cool the main area by cranking the bedroom a/cs and used the window fans to blow cool air down the hall. Otherwise, it would have been difficult to appreciate a great space for our family to hang out together. A window air conditioner in the main room would make a big difference.
A final issue: small bugs. One of our kids put it this way, ‘I didn’t realize there were bugs in the room until I turned on the light.” I expect that issue can be easily resolved.
Overall, we really enjoyed the property and would still recommend it.
