About this apartment rental
This is a roomy two bedroom apartment on the ground level with 2 small decks, one off of the master bedroom so that you can sit outside with your morning coffee with privacy. This apartment has more privacy because it opens in the front - whereas the other Guest apartments open in the back.
The location is great - one block to the Historic Temescal Village, with lots of shops and cafes and a Peets Coffee House, Post Office and 24/7 Walgreens - never know when you get the muchies at 3 am or need some over-the-counter med! It is a busy commercial street - but reasonably quiet at night - with little traffic. But there is noise on trash days.
One parking space for a car - no trucks or oversized vehicles. Street parking anywhere in SF or Oakland is risky. BART (rapid transit) is 8 blocks; car rental is 3 blocks.
Very easy by bus to UCB - about 1-1/2 miles

Please tell about yourselves, your reasons for coming to Oakland and at what time you will arrive. There is a 30 min Orientation on arrival before going into the apt so, all Guest must arrive together. No late night check in after 6 pm. If arriving late from a flight, it is best to stay the first night at the airport. FYI: I decline Traveler who do not disclose info - this is a private compound and I screen for following instrucitons.
