Master Ensuite= Queen Bed , Bed 2 = 2x Twin Beds (T2K)
Located in the DISCOVERY BAY RESORT, this air conditioned suite provides great appointment with its laminate floors and contrasting furniture. Being on the top floor and on the end of the building allows for Lake views over the pool deck, both bedrooms having windows to allow natural light and reduced noise from fellow guests. Twin beds are a great addition to this suite. This is one of Kelowna’s luxury first class resort accommodations located in the heart of downtown Kelowna. The resort offers panoramic views of the city and mountains along with stunning views of Okanagan Lake. Being located right on the lake, there are miles of waterfront walkways offering visitors a relaxing park-like setting. You are within walking distance to several coffee shops and restaurants and only 10 minutes walk to the heart of Kelowna – Bernard Street!
This 6th floor suite is on the top floor of the North building and allows for lake breezes to compliment the BBQ on the deck. Cook a burger, partake in a light refreshment or 2 and take in the lake and the courtyard pool all from the comfort of your deck. 2 hot tubs, and indoor/outdoor pool and a Summer fun pool makes this a destination location. I nearly forgot to add in the Pool table, table tennis table and comfy sofas available for your enjoyment in the amenities room located down below on the main pool deck. This 2 Bedroom, 2 bathroom suite provides a Queen Bed with an Ensuite in the Master Bedroom and 2 Twin beds (T2K) in the the second bedroom. Suite comfortably sleeps 4.

This suite is equipped with TV’s in the living room and both bedrooms with cable service and high speed Wi-Fi (internet). This fully equipped suite comes with kitchen dining for 4 including a blender, toaster, coffee maker, bath towels, bed linens, an in-suite washer/dryer with laundry detergent and a gas BBQ on the deck. Within the secured, undercover building parkade you will find a reserved SINGLE car space.

We've stayed at the Discovery resort in different suites 3 times over the last 4 years. you really cant beat the location and the suites themselves. so much within walking distance and the suites are well appointment and a good size. Nice balcony, nice views of the lake. having said that the resort pool areas are really starting to show some age. the pool deck and surrounding area is bubbling up and showing dark spots in many locations that are quite slippery when they get wet. One or 2 of the the pools/hot tubs are frequently closed for maintenance at any given time. Also for this particular unit the parking situation is really bad. the unit is in the far north building but the parking spot is all the way on the furthest south part of the parkade. furthermore the assigned spot is in the corner against the end wall. getting in and out requires several point turns even with only a mid-size SUV. Luckily we had a small wagon with us to load/unload the car or it would have been even more of a problem. Lastly, this unit is managed by a property mgmt company. they were easy to deal with, you pickup keys at their downtown office. simple and efficient and they even called ahead the day before to align on arrival time.

Great property located within walking distance of restaurants, beaches, playgrounds and more. The kitchen was large enough to accommodate the needs of our family. The staff was always available and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. Appliances are bit outdated but fully functional. The parking was confusing in the beginning due to the large size of the property and makes it tricky to unloaded groceries but it’s doable. Recommend staying here for the great location, views and overall convenience.
