Laundry soap, dishwashing soap, shampoo. Outdoor gas grill with patio dining table. Front yard faces ocean with people watching or sea life watching from our patio viewing chairs. TV's in two queen bedrooms and one TV in the living room.“The location is unbeatable, close to the best of West End spots, e.g., breweries, wineries, tide pools, grocery, and the best multi use trail in Santa Cruz across the street that runs along West Cliff Drive which is great for walking, running, riding a bike, or people watching. The house is beautiful and comfortable, but it's the location that took my breath away. The house overlooks the ocean and every morning when I awakened and lifted the shades to see that view of the sea and sky I just basked in the beauty for a moment or three. My best friend and I stayed here with our husbands and kids for a birthday weekend and the location was just right for walks along the coast, tidepooling, and day trips to the marine center, botanical gardens, and redwoods. It would be lovely, peaceful and calming to stay in with just adults but it accommodated four children ages 3 to 11 just fine as well. I couldn't recommend it more.

This place was a dream! The views and location were terrific. We went down to the tidal pools, watched sunsets, and walked along the popular walking path in front of the house. We also walked to coffee shops and the brewery down Swift St. The home was clean and comfortable. Everything went totally smoothly and I would revisit in a heartbeat!

We recently stayed at Liz’s beach house in Santa Cruz, and it exceeded all our expectations. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from West Cliff Drive with a stunning ocean view that you can enjoy right from the living room. The house itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The spacious layout was perfect, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the coastal vibe. We especially loved the bedrooms and the aquatic décor (think fish!). The beds were cozy, providing a great night’s sleep. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. We do recommend getting some ketchup for all the good seafood and french fries as that was the only condiment that was missing! The only minor issue we encountered was the Wi-Fi connection, which was a bit slow and intermittent at times. It was a very minor inconvenience, but it’s worth noting if high speed reliable internet is essential for your stay. Overall, this beach house is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Santa Cruz. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We were visiting Santa Cruz with teens and grandparents for a week-long family vacation and surf trip. We LOVED this house and its location. Right on the bluffs, with beautiful walking paths and surf spots right out the front door. Lots of space to gather for meals and games. Probably our favorite vacation rental ever. Will certainly be back next year. House was exactly as described, communication with the hosts easy. Could have hoped for better.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Liz’s oceanview house on West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz for a girls' birthday weekend celebration, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by the charm and comfort of the house. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, providing us with a restful night's sleep after our days of exploration and celebration. But perhaps the highlight of our stay was the breathtaking ocean view. Waking up to the sight of the Pacific Ocean stretching out before us was simply magical. Whether we were enjoying morning coffee on the porch or unwinding in the evening the panoramic vista never failed to captivate us. Even the rainy weather on Saturday couldn't dampen our spirits. In fact, watching the raindrops dance on the waves only added to the cozy ambiance of the house, making it the perfect excuse to curl up indoors and enjoy each other's company. Overall, our stay at this oceanview house on West Cliff Drive met all of our expectations. It provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable birthday celebration with friends, offering comfort, charm, and an unbeatable view. We're already dreaming of our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! You can take walks along the ocean cliff both during the day and at night, when you can listen to relaxing sounds of crashing waves. The house is a bit on the older side but the views cannot be beat. The house is also very close to many great coffee shops with locally roasted beans.

If you are looking to wake up to a gorgeous view and feel the waves crashing then look no further. Perfect for a family -- the bedrooms are located towards the back of the home in a quiet neighborhood. We got to skip the long parking lines to get into the Natural Bridges state beach to see the Monarchs on their way south. Part of West Cliff Dr is washed out but makes for a great walking path to the Lighthouse park. Short drive to get coffee and breakfast from Cat and Cloud. Did the boardwalk in the evening -- plenty of games and amusements for all.
