About this house rental
This Original Seabright Beach single story cottage was converted in the early 1900's to a two story Craftsman Bungalow. The home is furnished with nautical decor. Upstairs sunroom looks out to the bay and municipal pier beyond. Peaks of the ocean from other upstairs bedrooms. Upstairs bathroom is large with old fashion clawfoot soaking tub. Downstairs has a large living room, large dining room, large kitchen with eating nook, a large bathroom with a shower, also a private bedroom off the front porch, and the west bedroom with its own enclosed sun porch. The home sits on a corner lot surrounded by well kept lawns and gardens with many cozy sitting areas, some with a view of the beach, a welcome after a long day at the beach. Wake up each morning to the gentle reminder that you're as the beach with the sound of waves and sea lions barking in the distance.

This was our third time staying here and we love it! Dave is great to communicate with and the house and yard are beautiful and close to the beach and Boardwalk. There are 10 of us in our family and the house is perfect for us! The outdoor bathroom/shower is a total bonus! The house feels like home to us!

Great property close to the beach! The beds were all comfortable with the exception of the king trundle bed which seems like it may need a new mattress but it wasn’t terrible. Good seating in the living room and our family of 8 had a great time! The home actually even seemed larger in real life than in the photos! We wouldn’t hesitate to book this beautiful home again!

Dave’s house by the beach was a such a special, beautiful location for our group of old friends to gather! We enjoyed the well appointed front yard, the charmingly preserved home, the proximity to the beach and being able to hear the waves at night. Dave has clearly taken tremendous care in restoring the home and there are lots of wonderful little details. Everyone had a lovely time!

This house is in a great location, just a block from an overlook of the beach, offering some views of the ocean from upstairs rooms. The kitchen has everything, and the large table is perfect for our group of 9. It is challenging to find a house with 5 bedrooms, however, it is essential to note that one of the bedrooms is located off the front porch and locks independently. The windows in this room are nailed shut. We didn't know this, and it made it tricky to figure out how to sleep parents and young children. Also, the room was hot and stuffy. The house was not very clean. I know it's old but the dust wasn't even vacuumed out from under the beds. All in all, I'd say it was OK and we had a reasonably nice time.
