A cozy, well-located Harwich retreat with a responsive host—perfect for a relaxing seaside stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Harwich. It was incredibly comfortable and had a warm, homey feel that made us feel relaxed right away. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the water and close to shops, which made everything super convenient. Paul, the host, was fantastic—very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Family Success - really enjoyed and well catered for.

Owners very helpful, and easy to communicate with and flexible. Location 5 minutes from the pier and a wee beach. Not a pretty location but great for a 4yo. In the more historic part of the town, house inside clean and well furnished, good quality bed linen, beds comfy enough. A plethora of White towels, lots of hot water if a little slow to come through. Small back patio with flowers and a table and 3 chairs. Clothes Washing machine and pretty well equipped kitchen (we were cooking daily). Parking in front of the house on the pavement, and free parking throughout Harwich even at the beaches. Beaches clean and not crowded in spite of being school holidays and good weather. Crabbing in front of the low lighthouse at rising tide an absolute hit. Great historical location, lots of trains and museums etc. Holiday activities on for children being the summer time. Playgrounds and boating Park. We enjoyed the container ship port opposite but this might not be everyone's cup of tea. Catching the ferry across to spend the day on the Felixstowe beaches a highlight but £50 return for a small family quite pricey. Lots of pubs, but also eateries. Local people welcoming and friendly. Spent a lovely art day at the Bank Studios which was an unexpected bonus.

No internal table or chairs to eat meals at. Only three chairs outside so, when weather good, this did not even allow a family sit down. No dishwasher.

Okay but not what we were expecting from the photos we thought we had a sea view.

The beds were good nice linen,towels good

No dining table a big problem for us ,no bath mat in the bath my 81 year old sister slipped trying to get in the bath,and no mat on the outside of the bath,plus no bin. Not enough crockery.

The property was clean, attractive, comfortable and tidy and had the essential cleaning products for our stay. The location was really interesting and a good place to explore. The local pubs and restaurants were good quality and the people friendly.

There was no instruction book in the property, and we locked ourselves out the first night as the upvc door automatically locked. No note on the door, or instructions about this in the property. It cost quite a bit to get a locksmith out, and the host did not respond to a request about refund in the absence of any clear instruction or warning about the front door. We were told there was a folder somewhere in the house, but no response from the host when we couldn't find it.

The contact between ourselves and the host was fast and responsive, a little Halloween gift left for us was much appreci

well appointed, clean, tidy and great value. The local pub was friendly and the food was great value.

parking was a little tricky, but we were able to park close by. My fault when booking but the distance between places was increased by having to drive on and off the peninsula- it definitely did not spoil our stay.
