Location was good, pleasantly surprised by the roof garden. Made comfortable on a hot day by being well ventilated.
The property was well furnished. Towels and linen provided were clean and bright.
More kitchen knives!
A fan in the kitchen was on almost permanantly :-(
I thought there was no duver cover - then on inspection it appears it wa on inside out!
Clearer instructiions on closing street gate - we weren't to know there was a dog in the other property and it was a bit temperamental to open & close as well
TBH we were surprised as the lead images led us to believe it was what we now know is the the low lighthouse, dspite other images within the portfolio

The cottage is well equipped, with a good sized lounge, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen in two parts. The location is very peaceful and private, because it is set back from the road. There is a selection of good pubs, cafes and restaurants, free on-street parking, and easy access to local 7-11 shops, museums, railway station, and ferry. We enjoyed our stay, and would book again.
The door to the street kept us guessing, and I had to telephone the proprietor. Clearer instructions would help! It was quite cold when we arrived, but I couldn't work out the central heating control. Fortunately a fan heater kept our feet warm. The doors, windows and bathroom would benefit from some maintenance. The kitchen fan runs constantly; I hoped it would turn off at night, but it didn't. The bathroom fan didn't work. The wifi dropped in and out.

There was a broken floor tile and I was concerned my dog would cut he's paws so I had to cover the broken tile.
There was also a lump of glass by the sofa and here again if my dog had walked on it, he would have cut his paws or if I had trodden on it I would have cut my foot. I'm not sure if it was on the sofa where someone had broken a glass or was under the sofa.
