Mineral water in kitchen

Not safe neighbourhood Doors not closing Old kitchen utensils Location not same as given in google so we had a hard time finding the property. At night we plugged a charger and all the electricity of the house went out. Creaky noises while we walk. Mosquitoes at night.

Piece of paradise

What a fantastic place to stay. Surya could not have been more helpful arranging pick up for us and ensuring we were comfortable. The villa has 2 big rooms and 2 bathrooms, with a private pool in a private back garden. The location is superb, super easy to get in and out of Ubud, and a good central location for all the activities and excursions. Surya and his family came one day when we were in to do offerings, they let us observe and ask questions, and told us the best places to visit. Nothing was too much. Really close to some nice (and cheap) restaurants too and some rice paddies.

Fabulous , amazing, comfortable, relaxing. We couldn’t possibly have a better host in Surya

Everything!! Hot water and pressure was fantastic. Was extremely close walk to restaurants and coffee and shops, extremely relaxing and tucked away from the noise of the main road. Pool was clean and very inviting. Aircon was always a great bonus as my travel companion loved it.our host Surya was sent to us from the heavens above, guiding us all around ubud and it’s surrounded area. Waiting for us when we went shopping, sharing knowledge, he and his beautiful family were so caring and thoughtful, they truely made this stay at tegeswoodhouse a fabulous experience I will forever remember and be grateful for! A massive thank you

I couldn’t fault this property whatsoever. Wifi was a problem at one stage but again this was a network issue and nothing to do with this wifi here

Beautiful and peaceful villa perfect for family holidays

We spent wonderful 4 days at Villa Tegeswood and wish we stayed longer. The villa is a peaceful oasis 10 minutes drive from the bustling center of Ubud. The neighbourhood is quiet and 3 minutes away there are cafes where you can get a great breakfast or grocery stores. The villa is even more beautiful as shown on the photos. It is safe and calm and you can relax by the pool listening to birds' sounds. The best part of the accommodation is the host Surya, who picked us up late in the evening at the airport and took us to the villa and made sure everything was perfect. In addition, he drove us every day to Ubud and to see attractions such as Tegalalang rice fields and Kumulilir coffee site. Thank you Surya:)

It was almost impossible to walk to the Ubud centre with two little kids as there is a lot of traffic. However, our host Surya drove us everywhere we wanted.

The swimming pool was great and the landlord was very helpful! It was very close to rice paddies and the neighbourhood made us feel safe.

There are a lot of mosquitoes but the landlord has provided an anti mosquito dispenser in the room on the top as well.

Perfect for a family of 4. The host is a very honest and trustworthy guy. If you need a car or scooter or a driver, just ask him and he will hook you up for cheaper than market prices.

Nice and relaxing house with really nice owner

The accommodation was a very beautiful traditional house, which was very open and with the garden it was very inviting to relax. The landlord was also our driver for trips around the city or day trips. he made the stay perfect. Thank you for that.

Lo mejor del alojamiento es que es muy espacioso, tiene dos habitaciones muy grandes y piscina.

La limpieza es muy escasa. El apartamento estaba muy sucio y mal cuidado.

Prima!

Het was een fijne en ruime plek om te verblijven. Heel erg fijn een zwembad bij je huis. Dichtszbijzijnde supermarkt zit op 5 minuten lopen, en er zitten ook wat leuke eetgelegenheden in de aangrenzende straatjes, wat een grote plus voor ons was. Ook stond er een hele grote fles water klaar, die we gratis mochten gebruiken. Overall was het gewoon een prima locatie en prima voorzieningen. Wij hebben rondgereisd in Bali en het was echt een verademing om een badkamer te hebben die niet buiten was, dat was ook echt een grote plus. Hierdoor zaten er geen beesten en insecten in onze badkamers :)

Er zit wel een hostel in dezelfde straat en daar komen ‘s nachts vaak scooters mensen afzetten, maar met oordoppen heb je daar geen last van. Een ding waar wij tegenaan liepen was dat de ramen/deuren van de slaapkamers niet goed gesloten konden worden, waardoor er erg veel insecten naar binnen kwamen. Ik zat op de begane grond en heb 2 nachten last van mieren in mijn bed gehad. Mijn vriendin op de bovenste verdieping had hier geen last van. Als laatste is het huis volledig van oud hout, waardoor alles erg veel piept en kraakt als je eroverheen loopt. Als je deuren open/dicht doet, dan klinkt het alsof het huis op instorten staat, maar ook hier heb je daar met oordoppen ‘s nachts verder geen last van.
